Charlie Sheen — The Sweetest Deal Ever … Maybe
Sources connected with the Charlie Sheen case tell TMZ the plea bargain is still a 50/50 toss up, hours before today's court hearing ... but one thing is certain -- Charlie will not do jail time. Sources tell TMZ there are two options on the table between Charlie's lawyer, Yale Galanter , and prosecutors. We're told neither option includes jail time, and very little or no probation. But it gets even better for Charlie ... he will plead no contest to a misdemeanor -- not a felony, and his work schedule on " Two and a Half Men " will not be affected in any way. We're told Charlie is in the air right now flying to Aspen, where he and Galanter will meet with prosecutors before going to court. If they cannot strike a deal, we're told both sides will ask for a trial date when they appear in court at 3:00PM PDT. If a deal is struck it will be a remarkable feat that Yale Galanter -- who also reps Brooke Mueller -- orchestrated a deal for Charlie … [Read more...] about Charlie Sheen — The Sweetest Deal Ever … Maybe

Instagram / @janine_ray Greased light poles be damned, Eagles fans hit the streets of Philadelphia in the minutes after the Birds won the NFC Championship -- and, at one point, they went so hard, they crashed through a local bus stop! The hectic scene all went down after Philly handily beat the San Francisco 49ers ... when droves of Eagles supporters took to Broad Street near City Hall to celebrate the big victory. Fans packed into the roadway like sardines -- and, eventually, they climbed onto a bus stop to catch a better view of the party. The streets are wild (via ig/janine_ray) pic.twitter.com/txfrSxHRP2 — Barstool Philly (@BarstoolPhilly) January 30, 2023 @BarstoolPhilly Unfortunately for them, the stop couldn't hold the weight of everyone, and it gave way -- sending Philly supporters crashing to the ground. It's unclear if anyone was injured -- or if any arrests were made -- we've reached out to authorities for comment, but so far, no word … [Read more...] about Eagles Fans Party In Streets After Championship Win, Crash Through Bus Stop

WGA East Calls for Union Exemption To Obamacare’s ‘Cadillac Tax’
The WGA East today called for all union health plans to be exempted from the Affordable Care Act’s so-called “Cadillac Tax,” a 40% nondeductible excise tax that is scheduled to go into effect in 2018 on employers who provide high-end health benefits to their workers. In comments filed today with the IRS and the U.S. Department of Treasury, the guild said that “the Cadillac Tax would strip away benefits from the basic package of compensation guild members have struggled for decades to win for themselves and their families.” WGAE contends that “unions and employers negotiate contributions to multiemployer health plans that reflect the economic reality of a particular industry and allocates compensation in a way that meets the employees’ actual needs and aspirations.” The guild said that “to strip hard-working men and women of these benefits” will “deprive them of the benefit of their bargain.” The Cadillac Tax was added to Obamacare on the theory that high-end union health … [Read more...] about WGA East Calls for Union Exemption To Obamacare’s ‘Cadillac Tax’
