Ben Barnes Breaks Down General Kirigan’s Dark Spiral In Season 2 of ‘Shadow And Bone’
There’s a reason they call him The Darkling. Ben Barnes ‘ General Kirigan is on a downward spiral in Season 2 of Netflix ‘s Shadow and Bone as he seeks to expand The Fold and reign over Ravka. While in Season 1, the then-leader of Ravka’s Grisha army was a respected and charismatic Shadow Summoner, Kirigan has done away with the facade for Season 2. After surviving a Volcra attack that led everyone to believe he’d died, Kirigan has returned — very much alive and with a literal shadow army at his disposal that he’s using to stoke enough fear in the remainder of the Grisha army that they will help him defeat Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li), who has set out to find the supposedly mythical creatures that can amplify her powers enough to destroy The Fold. “[Kirigan] was always on the wrong side. He’s always the villain. But in this season, it’s unleashed a little bit and he doesn’t have an army to rely on. He doesn’t have these masks of charm to rely on,” Barnes told … [Read more...] about Ben Barnes Breaks Down General Kirigan’s Dark Spiral In Season 2 of ‘Shadow And Bone’

‘Willow’ Creator Jon Kasdan Remains Optimistic For A Season 2 — But Not For At Least A Year
Willow creator Jon Kasdan remains hopeful that we will see a second season of the fantasy series, following news that it is ending, at least for now. Kasdan took to social media Thursday to reassure fans that a Season 2 has been written and he has every hope that it will eventually air, but not for at least the next 12 months. “A decision was made last week to release our main cast for other series opportunities that may arise for them in the coming year,” he wrote, taking issue with Deadline’s and other online reports of the series ending. He added that he feels “fairly confident that, if asked, neither I, nor the folks at Lucasfilm, would or have actually characterized it” as a final cancellation. As Deadline noted , while the series won’t continue in its current form as the cast has been released, Willow remains an important IP in the Lucasfilm library, so it may be revisited in the future. “With all the TV and movies in production around the world, it feels … [Read more...] about ‘Willow’ Creator Jon Kasdan Remains Optimistic For A Season 2 — But Not For At Least A Year
‘s Nicholas Braun Reveals How Tom-Greg Bromance Played Out In Real Life At Emmy Awards
One of the most compelling elements of the past three seasons of Succession has been the evolving bromance between Logan Roy’s son-in-law turned handbag carrier Tom Wambsgans ( Matthew Macfadyen ) and the not-quite-so-dim-as-he-appears cousin Greg ( Nicholas Braun ). While their bond has been by turn toxic, symbiotic and occasionally emotional, the finale of season 3 saw turncoat Tom cryptically offer Greg a place in the company – just before it transpired he had betrayed his wife and her siblings to stay in Logan’s good books. Ahead of next week’s arrival of the fourth and final season, Braun has revealed his off-screen relationship with Macfadyen to be far more wholesome and mutually supportive – something that played out at the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards, with both of them up for the Best Supporting Actor gong. Braun told The Times of London that he and Macfadyen clung to each other as they heard their names called. “Matthew’s and my hands were on each … [Read more...] about ‘s Nicholas Braun Reveals How Tom-Greg Bromance Played Out In Real Life At Emmy Awards
