Indie producer Daisy Allsop has joined WestEnd films to oversee acquisitions and development across the company’s slate of films and TV shows. Allsop takes over from Toby Hill and has already started her new role. She will attend the Berlin film festival, where WestEnd will debut Traitor , a new television series from the creators of False Flag, Valley of Tears , and Euphoria . As an independent producer, Allsop’s credits include Tell It To The Bees (2018), Orthodox (2015), and the forthcoming My Happy Ending , starring Andie Macdowell and Miriam Margolyes. Allsop is also a screenwriter, represented by Casarotto Ramsay. She continues to operate her producing slate through Archface Films. “We are thrilled to have Daisy join our team. EXCLUSIVE: Wild Bunch International (WBI) has boarded sales on buzzy Portuguese director, artist and producer Gabriel Abrantes ’ upcoming English-language feature Amelia’s Children . The film is among half a dozen new titles being launched by WBI at the EFM, alongside a raft of previously announced upcoming films, including Cannes hopefuls such as Hirokazu Kore-Eda ’s Monster . The company is also handling Berlinale Competition selections, Philippe Garrel’s The Plough and Makoto Shinkai’s hotly awaited anime Suzume, and the Panorama title Heroic , which world premiered at Sundance. Abrante’s psychological thriller Amelia’s Children is his solo feature debut and his first feature since his 2018 Cannes Critics’ Week winner Diamantino (co-directed with Daniel Schmidt). EXCLUSIVE: Animation studio Snipple Originals has won a mega Sky Kids order for a pre-school singalong show. The Singalings will air on the new Sky Kids linear channel later this year and is one of the first shows to emerge from the original content arm of Snipple Animation . The show, which kicks off each episode with a song, centers on three inquisitive and eager extra-terrestrials who are here to discover all they can about Earth, visiting the zoo, the beach and a funfair. It is comprised of 26 x 1 ’45’ songs,  26 x  5’ episodes, 2 x song compilations and 5 x episode compilations.
