Gillis, who has been serving as Interim Artistic Director since William Carden retired in 2022 and is a long-time member of EST, will begin planning the 2023/2024 season with director/producer Fadul who will officially join the company in March. Over the past five decades, EST has developed thousands of new American plays and has grown into a company of over 600 actors, directors, playwrights, and designers. Yash Raj Films ’ action thriller Pathaan , starring Shah Rukh Khan , is shattering box office records, grossing 591 crore rupees ($73.6M) worldwide in just six days, with an impressive $27.56M coming from overseas. It’s a huge relief for the Bollywood film industry, which has had a string of flops or almost hits over the past few years, and disproves industry fears that the rise of OTT in India has killed the cinema star. As part of James Gunn and Peter Safran ’s unveiling of their new DC Universe Chapter One, “Gods and Monsters”, the twosome announced theatrical release dates for the Gunn penned Superman Legacy , that being July 11, 2025 and Matt Reeves ’ DC else-world Batman II which is Oct. 3, 2025. Gunn and Safran declared that 2025 will be a big year for their new DC universe. Warners already had both dates on hold on the theatrical release calendar for untitled DC movies. No other studios have booked titles against them at this point in time. His syndicated daytime show, Dr. Phil, will end its run with original episodes with the current 2022-2023 television season, the show’s 21st. McGraw’s decision comes as his most recent contract is coming to an end.
