Jonathan Majors Arrested In New York For Allegedly Assaulting A Woman; Actor Looks “Forward To Clearing His Name”
Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York City on Saturday, March 25 for allegedly assaulting a woman. “A preliminary investigation determined that a 33-year-old male was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female,” read a statement from the Deputy Commissioner Public Information. “The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition.” The charges against the Creed III star included strangulation and harassment. WGA East Members Unanimously Ratify New Contract With Fox’s WNYW-TV New York
The editorial staff at Fox affiliate WNYW-TV New York has voted unanimously to ratify a new four-year contract with the WGA East . The 52-member bargaining unit includes news writers, writer/producers, assignment editors, segment producers, news assistants and feed coordinators. The new pact includes 3% minimum annual salary increases in the first year, and 2% in each of the next three years. This morning’s Tony Award nominations favored the familiar, with Mean Girls and SpongeBob SquarePants leading the field with 12 nods apiece. The American debut of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child paced new plays with 10 nominations, and the revival of Angels in America had a strong showing with 11 nominations, most in Tony history for a play. DKC , the public relations, digital communications and content production agency, has officially moved into its new West Coast headquarters in Century City. The firm, which specializes in music, TV, film, talent, consumer brands, culture, sports/esports, technology, social media, influencer and event production, spent the past 10 years in its offices in West Hollywood. The new offices, located on the ground floor at 1801 Century Park East, feature open-concept workspaces and multiple high-design meeting rooms. A rep for the Red Sox tells TMZ, the home team has planned a special 9/11 remembrance ceremony that will occur before the game, including a moment of silence. The rep says families who lost loved ones on 9/11 will be on the field for the ceremony.
