‘Fall’ Sequel In The Works After Vertigo-Inducing Thriller Becomes Surprise Netflix Hit

Peter Hardy Dies: Australian Actor Known For ‘McLeod’s Daughters’, ‘Chopper’ Was 66
Australian actor Peter Hardy , known for such TV series as McLeod’s Daughters , as well as films and stage musicals, died from drowning during a snorkeling excursion at West Australia’s South Beach in Fremantle on Thursday March 16. He was 66. The actor was reportedly pulled from the water unconscious at 10:40 AM local time on Thursday. Before paramedics arrived on the scene, bystanders tried to revive him, but he could not be saved. Hardy’s credits include drama/romance series McLeod’s Daughters in which he appeared in 44 episodes. He also made three appearances on long running soap Neighbours , as well as stints on crime dramas Rush and Stingers . He was also in Andrew Dominik’s award-winning 2000 feature Chopper which starred Eric Bana. Work Begins On ‘Peaky Blinders’ Creator Steven Knight’s TV & Film Studio, First Projects Will Film Later This Year
Work has begun on Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight ’s Birmingham TV and film studio. Digbeth Loc. Studios will complete in July and filming will begin in October, including on Knight’s upcoming BBC drama Two Tone. The 80,000 sq ft Digbeth Loc. Studios will create 760 new jobs, according to its founders, contributing £30M ($36.6M) to the local economy as it acts as a regeneration project for the Digbeth area in the West Midlands. Knight, who is also helming the BBC and FX’s upcoming Great Expectations adaptation, had a vision to create a long-term cultural legacy for Birmingham and he forged the idea for Digbeth Loc. with business partner Piers Read, the CEO of TIME+SPACE. Spring 2023 in Southern California looks a lot like winter 2023 in Southern California. The second day of spring in and around Los Angeles brought another in a seemingly endless stream of atmospheric river events and about an inch of rain to most of the region, with more to come this evening. Up to 3 inches of rain could fall in coastal and valley areas by the time the storm subsides Wednesday, with foothill and mountain areas seeing 3-6 inches, according to the National Weather Service. Most of the region already is near double its average seasonal precipitation. The Department of Water and Power headquarters downtown, for example, has seen 32 inches thus far, according the L.A. Public Works data . The seasonal average for this time of year is about 17 inches. That means by Wednesday, the seasonal total could be double the average.
