Given that the hosts have often been used and reused to populate and entertain in a world of brutal violence and sex, it wasn’t too surprising that when the park’s founder and creator, Dr. Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins), loosened the safeguards on his creations that a vengeful killing spree ensued. Part of Robert’s hubris was believing he could control his creations, who have artificial intelligence and are physically superior to humans.
