Here’s Unni The Elephant, The Biggest Star From Haathi Mere Saathi
On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Jayanti, Eros International's Haathi Mere Saathi introduces us to the dynamic megastar, Unni the elephant. We've often heard myriad tales of Bollywood stars and their exotic lives on and offsets. But here is Unni, the lead elephant from Haathi Mere Saathi starring Rana Daggubati, who lives a life even more exotic than our B-town celebs. During the shoot of HMS, Unni proved to be the biggest celebrity on the set. Prabu Solomon, the National award-winning director shares how he met Unni. Says he, "A few years ago, I needed a lead elephant and we auditioned more than 30 to 40 elephants across the length and breadth of Kerala. There I found Unni. He is very friendly, emotional, obedient and intellegent. I worked with Unni in Kumki and because he was so good, I casted him in Kumki 2 as well. After playwright Jeremy O. Harris’ hit show Slave Play had its final performance at the Golden Theatre on January 19th, 2020, he was applauded by some for changing the way audiences engaged with Broadway theater — but also found many detractors. Harris had insisted on being a co-producer of the show, made sure to offer more affordable tickets ( $39 rather than the average $124 ), and hosted a “Black Out” performance, which reserved all 804 seats for black students, performers, journalists, and artists. It seemed a shoe-in for Tony accolades, then the coronavirus pandemic shuttered Broadwa y and live performances around the globe. ‘SNL’ Explores The World Of Dude Bro Makeovers In Unaired HGTV Parody
In a cut for time sketch from last night’s Saturday Night Live , a couple of interior designers (Nick Jonas, Heidi Gardner) renovate the home of two bachelors (Kyle Mooney, Mikey Day). The result is Bachelor Home Makeover , where the host turns “drab homes into fab pads.” The smug host touches on the perfect layout for two guys who are separated from their spouses and choose to live together while they figure out the rest of their lives. Of course, the necessities of life are covered — a gaming couch, a special toilet and a shelf where various tchotchkes can accumulate.
