‘Home Improvement’ Actor Zachery Ty Bryan Gets Probation In Domestic Violence Case

· February 24, 2021 ·

Zachery Ty Bryan , the actor best known for his role as eldest son Brad Taylor on Tim Allen’s Home Improvement , pleaded guilty to two felony counts in a domestic violence case in Oregon yesterday. He received a sentence of three years of probation, and must participate in a batterer intervention program. Bryan pleaded guilty to menacing and assault in the fourth degree. The charges stem from an incident in Eugene, Oregon last October in which the 39-year-old actor assaulted his 27-year-old girlfriend. He was arrested and booked into the Lane County Jail and initially charged with harassment, coercion, strangulation, interference with making a report and second counts of menacing and assault in the fourth degree. Those charges were dismissed in return for his two-count guilty plea. Bryan’s sentencing was first reported yesterday by KEZI-TV in Eugene, Oregon. If you’re working from home, you’re going to need tools to make your place feel more like an office. It’s easy to lose focus if you don’t create the right work space. For Shirley Lam, the founder and owner of the pet lifestyle site, Perro & Me , it’s all about building a little bit of structure. Lam, who runs the thriving online business out of her house in Vancouver, says it’s important to get in the mindset that you’re going to work. “Set your daily schedule in your calendar and stick to it as you would at the office,” she says. “And get dressed for work — do your hair, put on makeup and look office-appropriate, even if it’s just your home office.” Another tip: “Set up a dedicated spot as your work space so that you can take breaks and walk away from it,” Lam … [Read more...] about 13 Accessories to Help You Stay Focused and Productive If You’re Working From Home

With More People Livestreaming From Home, Here’s How to Make Your Video Better

The rise of broadband internet and lower-cost video equipment has caused a boom in livestreaming. It’s easier than ever to turn your living room, bedroom, basement, or closet into a production-quality internet TV station. Twitch, the most popular livestreaming platform, has over 92,000 live broadcasts and more than 2.4 million viewers online as I’m writing this (these numbers increase at night and on weekends). Streaming on Twitch, or its main competitors YouTube TV, Facebook Live, and Instagram is totally free. That’s not even taking into account Zoom meetings, FaceTime or Skype calls where you’re interacting with your colleagues and friends on camera. But as much as a livestream is based on the content you provide, you also want to make sure you’re putting your best … [Read more...] about With More People Livestreaming From Home, Here’s How to Make Your Video Better

‘Kid 90’ Tells Story of Nineties Child Stars Through Soleil Moon Frye’s Home Movies

· February 24, 2021 ·

Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye’s home videos from the Nineties are the focus of Kid 90 , a Hulu documentary about the actress’ experiences as a teenaged star — and that of other child actors — during that decade. “As a teenager in the Nineties, Soleil Moon Frye carried a video camera everywhere she went. She documented hundreds of hours of footage and then locked it away for over 20 years,” the film’s synopsis states. “After all this time, Kid 90 unlocks the vault and presents a true time capsule of a group of friends growing up in Hollywood and New York City.” Among the fellow child actors in Frye’s circle were Saved by the Bell ’s Mark-Paul Gosselaar, David Arquette, Stephen Dorff, Balthazar Getty, Beverly Hills 90210 ’s Brian Austin Green, and more. “The most awkward period of your life… that’s when we were in front of the cameras,” Gosselaar says in the trailer. The preview also hints at the impact being a child star has on a teenager later in life, as one … [Read more...] about ‘Kid 90’ Tells Story of Nineties Child Stars Through Soleil Moon Frye’s Home Movies

· February 24, 2021 ·

The third new Spider-Man movie between Sony and Disney’s Marvel starring Tom Holland will be titled Spider-Man: No Way Home as revealed today on Tom Holland’s Instagram. See below. Pic’s anticipated release is Dec. 17. In recent days Holland has teased the title for fans, and dropped a first look image from the production with him, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. If you remember, there was a huge public spat back in 2019 between Disney and Sony over doing a third film. Sony ultimately agreed to the terms that Disney proposed for its participation in a third Spider-Man movie, whereby Disney/ Marvel would co-finance 25% of a third Homecoming movie for a 25% equity stake. The deal also calls for Spider-Man appearing in one more Disney/Marvel movie. There’s been a number of rumors about Spider-Man: No Way Home, that much like DC’s The Flash, which will mix old and new Batmans Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton from previous films, that we’re apt to see … [Read more...] about ‘Spider-Man’ Sequel Title Finally Revealed By Tom Holland
