Due to the lockdown owing to the Coronavirus pandemic, many award functions were not conducted. Because of this, many good films that had released in 2019 were not honoured. But now, since the situation in the world is getting better, organisers are now all set for award ceremonies to honour the best work of 2019. A few days ago, Filmfare had organised the first-ever award function for OTT content in December 2020. And now, Planet Marathi is all set to present Filmfare Awards Marathi 2020 to honour the best films and work of 2019 in Marathi cinema. The organisers recently announced the nominations list of the films which are competing to bag the 'black lady'. Golden Globes this Sunday (February 28) will kick off 2021's awards season in a hybrid manner, with some celebrities walking down the red carpet while others joining in through webcams and the safety of their homes. Keeping the pandemic in mind, the Golden Globes this year will be taking place on two coasts for the first time. Comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be returning for the fourth time to host the awards show. While Tina Fey will host from New York, Poehler will be joining from Beverly Hills, California. Maren Morris and Chris Stapleton emerged as the leading nominees with six each when the nominations for the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards were announced Friday morning. Morris’ strong showing is due in part to the success of her song “The Bones,” which landed her nominations for Single of the Year and Song of the Year (Morris co-wrote the crossover hit). As an artist, she’s up for Female Artist of the Year and, as a member of the Highwomen, for Group of the Year. Stapleton’s nominations arrive on the back of his latest album, Starting Over .
