And then, on an iPad tilted in his direction, the filmmaker watches as a camera feed from the Australian outback offers him a live view of a pre-shoot for his next feature, Furiosa . EXCLUSIVE: WME has signed prominent Mexican director Pitipol Ybarra, whose latest feature Videocine staring Mauricio Ochmann recently wrapped shooting. Ybarra previously helmed 2018 feature Ya Veremos , also starring Ochmann, which was released by Pantelion/Lionsgate in the U.S. and Videocine in Mexico, grossing an impressive $10M in the latter. Wurramara has deep roots in the two Gulf of Carpentaria islands, dating back to her grandmother and grandfather, who both grew up on Groote and Bickerton. In a new video produced by Rolling Stone Australia and Tourism NT, Wurramara shares her affection for the islands’ natural wonders and the cultural highlights of the NT. Growing up on Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Island, Wurramara spent a lot of time at the beach. “The water for us is very sacred,” she says. “A lot of the men in my family are hunters, so they’d go on the beach, on the canoes, and they’d go hunting for turtle, for dugong or for stingray.” A lot of Warnindilyakwa songlines run through the sea. Nearly nine years after the Easy A actor was placed in a court-ordered conservatorship that gave her mother decision-making power over her healthcare and security, a judge terminated the guardianship arrangement Tuesday. “The court finds that petitioner has provided facts that the conservatorship is no longer needed or required, therefore the petition for termination is granted,” Ventura County Judge Roger Lund said at the morning hearing that Bynes did not attend. “She’s done everything the court has asked over a long period of time,” the judge said. “She’s excited.
