The BBC is reviewing whether to ban TikTok and has told staff to delete the Chinese social media app from work phones unless they are using it for editorial or marketing reasons. The broadcaster issued fresh guidance for employees on Sunday after the UK government prohibited the use of TikTok on the phones of ministers and civil servants. The BBC’s guidance marks a significant change of tone from the broadcaster after it has vigorously embraced TikTok over the past year, even hiring specialists for its social media team. TikTok said it was “disappointed” by the BBC’s edict, adding that bans are “based on fundamental misconceptions” about the app’s security risk. One week after the BBC ’s schedule of sport was severely disrupted with a boycott by staff in support of anchorman Gary Lineker , both the host and fellow pundits were all back on screen this weekend. Lineker didn’t take his usual position as host of Match of the Day on Saturday evening, but stand-in presenter Mark Chapman was quick to tell viewers this was an arrangement that had been scheduled “weeks ago.” Meanwhile, Lineker was in action at lunchtime, introducing BBC coverage of the FA Cup quarter-final between Manchester City and Burnley. " Teen Mom " Amber Portwood just lost primary custody of her baby daughter ... TMZ has learned. Custody was awarded to baby daddy Gary Shirley instead -- after an Indiana judge decided he was a more suitable parent ... at least for the time being. But it wasn't because Amber's an unfit mother -- according to court testimony today, Child Protective Services recommended that Gary have primary custody because of recent vandalism to Amber's house and car. CPS was nervous about Amber's living conditions -- so both parties agreed it would be best for baby Leah to stay with Gary until further notice.
