The television producer, who moved from the U.K. to Los Angeles six years ago to start The Late Late Show With James Corden , is a week away from executive-producing his first Grammys telecast. “I literally had two hours of sleep last night,” he tells Rolling Stone via Zoom . On Sunday, March 7th, the Recording Academy revealed a slate of performing artists for March 14th’s 63rd Annual Grammy Awards that includes Billie Eilish, BTS, Taylor Swift, Cardi B, and Harry Styles. But while those names are on the lineup, Winston knows nothing about live TV is ever set in stone — especially in the time of a pandemic —so he’s been spending his days double- and triple-checking plans, waking up at 4:30 a.m. dry-eyed and restless. The Recording Academy has revealed the full lineup for this year’s Grammys . The performers include Cardi B, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Maren Morris, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, and Taylor Swift. Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, and Harry Styles have also been confirmed as first-time performers. While BTS technically performed last year, they only appeared briefly to contribute to Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” slot. Similarly, Roddy Ricch performed for the first time last year, but as part of a group tribute to Nipsey Hussle. It’s also worth noting that Harry Styles never performed as a part of One Direction. Frank Lupo, Stephen J. Cannell Creative Partner on ‘The A-Team,’ ‘Hunter’ and ‘Wiseguy,’ Dies at 66
The TV writer-producer also worked on 'Walker, Texas Ranger,' 'Riptide,' 'Raven' and more. Frank Lupo, who partnered with Stephen J. Cannell to create such popular 1980s action shows as The A-Team , Hunter and Wiseguy , has died. He was 66. Lupo died Feb. 18 at his home in Florida of causes not related to COVID-19, his sister, Linda Joy Sullivan, said. He also served as a writer and executive producer on the 1993-94 first season of CBS' Walker, Texas Ranger. A native New Yorker, Lupo came to Los Angeles in the mid-1970s and at age 20 was hired by Universal Television, where he met Cannell. After writing episodes of such shows as ABC's Battlestar Galactica and NBC's B.J. and the Bear , he worked with the late Rockford Files creator for the first time in 1981 on the ABC series The Greatest American Hero . Megan Thee Stallion , Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift are among the music icons who will take the stage at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards next Sunday.
