Cannell to create such popular 1980s action shows as The A-Team , Hunter and Wiseguy , has died. He was 66. Lupo died Feb. 18 at his home in Florida of causes not related to COVID-19, his sister, Linda Joy Sullivan, said. A native New Yorker, Lupo came to Los Angeles in the mid-1970s and at age 20 was hired by Universal Television, where he met Cannell. Matthew Vaughn, who directed the first Kick-Ass movie back in 2010, has revealed that there are now plans to reboot the series, with his production company Marv back at the helm. There's no word yet on when these movies will release, how similar they will be to the previous movies, or who will star, but nonetheless, it's enough to get comic book fans excited. Kick-Ass was Matthew Vaughn's big break back in 2010 which kick-started his career in the superhero movie industry. The success of Kick-Ass landed him his job as the director of X-Men: First Class , and writer of X-Men: Days of Future Past . Jill Messick , the Hollywood studio executive and producer who was Rose McGowan ’s onetime manager, died Wednesday in Los Angeles. She was 50. Her family confirmed the news and said Messick took her own life. The family also put out a lengthy statement today, saying Messick was “collateral damage” in the fallout of the Harvey Weinstein scandal and McGowan’s part in it. They said Messick was bipolar and had battled depression. “Over the past few months, many women have come out with allegations against Harvey Weinstein, including Rose McGowan, who has repeatedly spoken with the press, striking out against not only her alleged attacker, but a great many others. A possible Netflix leak may have just revealed the Breaking Bad movie's official title and story details. It's been a big weekend for the upcoming Disney+ streaming service as they take over the Anaheim Convention Center, announcing a ton of titles coming to the platform. However, it looks like Netflix may have accidentally (or on purpose) leaked some huge information about one of its own upcoming highly secretive projects, which a lot of people are going to be very interested in checking out.
