Ben Howard announces two London Eventim Apollo shows
Ben Howard has announced a string of live dates for 2018. The singer-songwriter will mark his return with two London shows at the Eventim Apollo. He will play in Hammersmith on June 13 and 14. This comes as he also announces details of his third studio album entitled Noonday Dream. Due for release on June 1, the LP features ten tracks including lead single A Boat To An Island On The Wall. It was premiered last night (March 4) on BBC Radio 1 and was named Annie Mac's Hottest Record. You can listen to it on Spotify here. The album will follow up his debut Every Kingdom and number one LP I Forget Where We Were. These UK dates follow up a European tour announcement last month which kicks off in Lisbon. Temperatures in London to be warmer than Portugal before weekend
Temperatures in some parts of west London are set to be warmer than Portugal on Friday (April 5) as spring finally gets under way in the capital. After a damp Easter bank holiday weekend, Londoners can expect temperatures as high as 16C on Friday, before they drop back down to around 12C on Sunday (April 8). Sunny intervals are predicted ahead of the weekend, but Saturday and Sunday are set to be quite grey and gloomy with some April showers to finish off the weekend. Friday's high temperatures come as London residents wash their hands of the Beast from the East, which caused freezing temperatures and snow across the country last month. Colchester father to fulfil promise to dying daughter by taking on London Marathon

Chris and Demi when she was young Chris Wright’s youngest daughter Demi died of a rare type of cancer called adenocarcinoma in February 2016, aged just 22. Two months earlier she had been taken to Colchester Hospital with severe back pain. Medics originally through Demi may be pregnant but tests later revealed she had a large tumour on her liver which was making her body produce pregnancy-like hormones. She was rushed to a specialist unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital but died three weeks later.
