Blue States Can’t Fix What the Supreme Court Broke
Colorado is only one of three states that allows abortion at any phase of pregnancy. It borders five states where the fate of abortion access remains uncertain, if not outright banned. In anticipation of the reversal of Roe v. Wade , the Colorado legislature enshrined the right to abortion access in its laws back in April. “State leadership matters more than ever,” Gov. Jared Polis (D) said when the Supreme Court overturned nearly 50 years of federal abortion rights with its decision in Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health on Friday. “We will not retreat to an archaic era when the powerful few controlled the freedoms over our bodies.” But Colorado also prohibits using any state healthcare dollars from paying for abortions, meaning Medicaid recipients and state employees can’t use their coverage to access services. It also can’t adjust the state budget without a ballot referendum, complicating any efforts to set aside funding for the expected deluge of out-of-state abortion … [Read more...] about Blue States Can’t Fix What the Supreme Court Broke

Lock Upp Fame Saisha Shinde Opens Up About Facing Discrimination, Says She Was Denied From Donating Blood
Designer Saisha Shinde recently opened up about when denied to donate blood. Calling the experience 'beyond discriminatory,’ the Lock Upp contestant said that she was on her way to donate blood when she was informed by the authorities that she won’t be able to do the noble deed due to some medical guidelines. Shinde then did her research and learnt about the blood referral. Saisha said, “As per those laws there are certain kind of people who cannot donate blood. People who are in the high-risk category of illnesses. Which is why transgenders, gay men, lesbians cannot donate blood. Apparently, we come in those category of carrying STDs. The irony is two years ago I donated my blood but now because my identity has changed I cannot donate blood. As if my blood has changed. But it’s not. I could be carrying those diseases as a gay man. It is beyond discriminatory.” In her interview with HT, Shinde also revealed this happened that this happened during the … [Read more...] about Lock Upp Fame Saisha Shinde Opens Up About Facing Discrimination, Says She Was Denied From Donating Blood

The first film debuted in 2015 followed by the second film Fifty Shades Darker in 2017, and Fifty Shades Freed in 2018. Johnson, plays Anastasia Steele alongside Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. It’s Quinta Brunson’s World and We’re All Just Laughing in It
Quinta Brunson — creator, executive producer, and star of the hit comedy Abbott Elementary — could moonlight as a tour guide. She meets me at the Warner Bros. Television building on a crisp day in April. The building, tucked behind bushes and an open-air set of a quaint city street, is boxy and drab, one of the least magnificent structures I see on the massive lot. And yet Brunson has a way of showing its hidden magic. Flanked by a publicist and a studio rep, we load into a golf cart, where Brunson leads me on a tour of the WB campus — it also just happens to be a tour of one of the most exciting young careers in comedy. In fact, while we chat in front of an outdoor set of a white church used in Gilmore Girls and Pretty Little Liars , an eager fan on a stretch cart packed with visitors on a guided tour loudly points her out. In 2018, she was cast as a lead in a CW series called The End of the World As We Know It after auditioning in this very building. The show never … [Read more...] about It’s Quinta Brunson’s World and We’re All Just Laughing in It
Ariel Winter’s Mom — I Want to Grill Ariel’s Doc and Attorney about Oral Sex Chat
Chrystal Workman says authorities falsely accused her of talking oral sex to her daughter, " Modern Family " star Ariel Winter -- and she wants to get to the bottom of the claims by putting Ariel's psychiatrist and her attorney on the hot seat. In her latest legal filing, Chrystal says she wants her attorneys to depose the doc and lawyer in order to defend herself against allegations of sexual abuse she believes Ariel made against her. According to the docs, 2 investigators from the Department of Children and Family Services interviewed Chrystal on June 19, 2013 -- and asked her if she ever had a conversation with Ariel regarding oral sex with her boyfriend. In the papers, Chrystal also alleges the DCFS investigators asked if she'd ever given Ariel a very graphic demonstration regarding how to use Monistat 7. We are paraphrasing, and heavily, because Chrystal's own words in the papers are just that graphic. Chrystal claims DCFS cleared her of all the … [Read more...] about Ariel Winter’s Mom — I Want to Grill Ariel’s Doc and Attorney about Oral Sex Chat
