Jesse Spencer is back on NBC ‘s Chicago Fire alongside Taylor Kinney for the highly anticipated Season 10 finale titled “The Magnificent City of Chicago,” airing May 25. Spencer exited the series in October after a decade on the firefighter drama. Spencer is wearing a blue suit as his character Matt Casey is standing in as his best friend Kelly Severide (Kinney) is set to marry Stella Kidd ( Miranda Rae Mayo ). “The juicy details are that we went to him and said, ‘You’re so loved on this show. And with the Severide wedding coming up, there’s no way Casey would miss seeing his best friend getting married. EXCLUSIVE: Bong Joon Ho’s follow-up film to his Oscar-winning Parasite is gaining quite the ensemble, as sources tell Deadline that Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo (whose deals are in final negotiations), along with Naomi Ackie , are joining Robert Pattinson in Bong’s next feature at Warner Bros . The untitled film is based on the novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. Bong will write, direct and produce for his production company Offscreen, alongside Kate Street Picture Company’s Dooho Choi and Plan B’s Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, as part of the latter’s overall deal with Warner Bros. The film reteams Bong and Choi with Brad Pitt’s Plan B following their successful collaboration on the director’s 2017 film Okja . The book was published in February by St. Martin, a Macmillan imprint. Station 19 alum Okieriete Onaodowan has been tapped to play the title role in AMC ’s Demascus , a comedic sci-fi series from playwright Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm, Deadline has confirmed. Desmascus , picked up in February as part of AMC’s straight-to-series development model, is executive produced by former Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul EP Mark Johnson, via his Gran Via Productions banner. The AMC Studios-produced series is expected to debut next year on both AMC and AMC+. Created by Chisholm, Demascus follows Demascus (Onaodowan), a 33-year-old Black man on a mission of self-discovery and the burgeoning field of digital psychiatry that might be the key to defining his truest self.
