Justin Bieber will perform his 2013 collection Journals for the first time as part of TikTok ’s Valentine’s Day programming. The concert, streamed “live from Drew House,” will take over Bieber’s TikTok account on February 14th at 6 p.m, PST. The performance will mark the first-ever long-form concert event in the history of TikTok, which this weekend sponsored Miley Cyrus’ pre-Super Bowl tailgate gig. “I’m excited to bring this show to life. Journals is one of my favorite projects and I’ve never performed it live,” Bieber said in a statement. “I’m grateful to TikTok for helping me to bring this show to everyone on Valentine’s Day.” Released in 2013, Journals was a collection of “Manic Monday” tracks that Bieber released on a weekly basis following his 2012 album Believe and prior to that LP’s companion concert film Justin Bieber’s Believe . Justin Bieber ‘s 10-week Music Mondays series may have come to an end, but there’s more Biebs ready to drop soon. Billboard reports that the singer will release a handful of new tracks along with all of the Music Mondays work in a limited-edition collection called Journals later this month. See the Evolution of Justin Bieber in Photos Journals will only be available from December 16th until January 2nd and can be purchased exclusively on iTunes for $13.99. The collection will feature five previously unreleased songs, which include production work by Diplo and guest spots from Big Sean, Lil Wayne and Future. Two videos and the trailer for the theatrical release of Believe (which hits select theaters on Christmas Day) will also be included in the Journals package. Although the content is only available as a package until January 2nd, the songs can still be purchased as individual tracks after that date. Cops carry Kendrick Lamar and his friends in a car, people dance on a police cruiser and the rapper flies in the video for his jazzy, powerful To Pimp a Butterfly track “Alright.” Between lyrics about hating police and the tune’s hook, “We gonna be alright,” Lamar balances atop a lamppost, hovering, before it all ends surreally, like a dream, after a showdown with a policeman. In late May, Lamar was spotted doing stunts for the video, standing atop a stoplight with wires attached to him. Rap-Up reported that the video was shot in Treasure Island, near San Francisco, and that 100 extras had been instructed to “go dumb” for a scene.
