EASTENDERS' fans were left shocked when Walford legend Phil Mitchell told wife Sharon that he was heading to Spain for two months. Sharon wasn’t totally gutted as her husband’s absence meant she could give into her urges and get to grips with hunky Keanu Taylor. Here’s what we know… Has Phil Mitchell left EastEnders for good? Highly unlikely - Actor Steve McFadden hasn’t made any announcements about leaving the role and there have been no statements from EastEnders. It’s also not likely that EastEnders would let one of their biggest stars leave the soap without a huge storyline. Phil has taken breaks from Albert Square in the past, most recently earlier this year when he fled the country after being involved in the New Year’s Day heist along with Aidan Maguire, Mick Carter and Keanu. Letting him go for good
15 minutes ago At this point, we have reported extensively on the level of secrecy associated with Avengers: Infinity War. The Russo brothers' latest Marvel Cinematic Universe outing promises to change the game in a major way, and few people were ever granted permission to see the project's entire script. Evans initially wasn't going to get a look at the full Avenger: Infinity War script, but he put his "foot down" and that helped convince the powers that be to let him see … [Read more...] about How Chris Evans Convinced Marvel To Let Him See The Avengers: Infinity War Script
"I've been dying to go back to San Francisco," says Jonathan Groff, who plays Patrick in HBO's Looking. Now he will, with the gay-centric show from Michael Lannan and Andrew Haigh officially renewed for a second season and production kicking off this summer. The season one finale airs on March 9, and Groff spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about what to expect, why Patrick singing would be horrendous and that drunken kiss between Patrick and Russell Tovey's Kevin. Alvarez], and with our … [Read more...] about Jonathan Groff on ‘Looking’ Season Finale, and ‘Let It Go’ as the Ultimate Earworm (Q&A)
Talk about a fashion bombshell. Hedi Slimane, the designer who helped shift the industry’s sphere of influence to Los Angeles in 2012 by setting up his studio there during his time leading the famed French fashion house of Saint Laurent, has a new gig: He’s been appointed the artistic, creative and image director of the French house of Celine, and will direct all collections, including introducing launching men’s wear, couture and fragrances. He replaces the influential female designer Phoebe Philo, who in her 10 years at the house of Celine put Joan Didion and other brainy women in ad campaigns, helped kick off the comfy shoe revolution by showing Vans-like slip-ons and furry Birkenstock-style sandals on the runway, and made must-have, minimalist and no-nonsense handbags, jackets and coats beloved by everyone from executives to stars, from Veep’s Selena Meyer to Zoe Kravitz. The move comes two years after Slimane parted ways with Saint Laurent (and … [Read more...] about Hedi Slimane Will Design for Celine and Bring the Hollywood Spotlight With Him

Brown was honored for his role as Randall Pearson on NBC’s This Is Us. He was the only man of color nominated in the category this year.In addition to thanking his wife, family, and coworkers, Brown specifically thanked This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman for creating the character of Randall. “Throughout the majority of my career I have benefited from colorblind casting,” Brown said, “which means, ‘Hey, let’s throw a brother in this role.’ It’s always really cool. But, Dan Fogelman, you wrote a role for a black man, that could only be played by a black man. And so what I appreciate so much about this thing is that I am being seen for who I am and being appreciated for what I am. And it makes it that much more difficult to dismiss me, or dismiss anybody who looks like me. So thank … [Read more...] about In Historic Golden Globes Win, Sterling K.
