A spokesperson for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the governor’s office is asking New York Attorney General Letitia James and the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of New York to appoint an independent investigator to conduct a review of accusations of sexual harassment by the governor. “The Governor’s Office wants a review of the sexual harassment claims made against the Governor to be done in a manner beyond reproach. We had selected former Federal Judge Barbara Jones, with a stellar record for qualifications and integrity, but we want to avoid even the perception of a lack of independence or inference of politics,” Beth Garvey, special counsel and senior advisor to Cuomo, said in a statement Sunday, according to CNN . Warner Bros. Pictures is giving moviegoers a final opportunity to see Christopher Nolan's sweeping epic Dunkirk on the big screen. On December 1, 2017, the film will be re-released in a select limited engagement in 50 IMAX and 70mm locations in 34 domestic markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Dallas, Atlanta, and Toronto, among others. Following, on January 24, the film's re-release will be expanded to include more than 250 additional locations. A lawyer representing nearly a dozen people is calling for a sexual abuse investigation against rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris. In a letter sent to state and federal authorities in Georgia and California, lawyer Tyrone A. Blackburn, who is representing the 11 “victimized” people, alleged “sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats and false imprisonment” against the rapper (birth name Clifford Harris) and his wife spanning from 2005 to 2018, the New York Times reports . Five of the victims cited in the letters claimed they were raped or sexually assaulted by the couple. One of the women, a military veteran, says she was drugged by the couple after meeting them at a club; she was later taken to their hotel room — experiencing the effects of the alleged drugging — where she claimed Tiny bathed her and T.I., and the three then engaged in sex, during which the woman vomited.
