Donald Trump is “generally obligated” to post on Truth Social , his new social media network, and cannot make the same post on another platform for six hours. The restrictions were outlined in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Monday by Digital World Acquisition Corp., the entity that plans to take the former president’s media venture, Trump Media and Technology Group, public. Trump may soon be able to post on Twitter again if Elon Musk ultimately completes his $44 billion purchase of the platform. Musk has criticized Twitter’s decision to permanently ban Trump following the January 6 siege on the Capitol and has said that he would reinstate him. But it wasn’t. Trump’s rally was held in The Woodlands, a too-clean and vaguely menacing compound of glass, steel and well-manicured lawns some 35 miles north of Houston’s downtown. Instead of a city council, The Woodlands, founded by George Mitchell, the pioneer of shale fracking, has an executive board. Residents of The Woodlands are more than 92 percent white. Politico first reported the news Friday, citing a court filing. That filing also reveals that Eastman regularly communicated with Trump in the lead-up to the Jan. 6 insurrection. This occurred either “directly with President Trump by phone and by email through his assistant or attorney agents,” or through one of “six conduits to or agents of” the then-president.
