Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks will host the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards in May, producers announced today. The awards ceremony will stream live on Thursday, May 11 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT/5 p.m. PT exclusively for a global audience across 240+ territories on Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. A full rebroadcast of the ceremony and performances will stream next day for free on Amazon Freevee. BFI Invites Union Bectu To Skills Task Force After Being Accused Of “Disappointing” Snub

EXCLUSIVE: The BFI is to involve Bectu with its Skills Task Force after being criticized for the “disappointing” decision to initially exclude the union. Deadline understands Bectu will play a role with the Task Force going forwards. Chaired by former Amazon Studios Europe boss Georgia Brown, the Task Force was unveiled earlier today to address major skills shortages in the UK film and TV sector over the next five years. The 20-plus delegates sitting on the body includes streamers, U.S. studios, UK broadcasters and a number of trade bodies, but has no union representation. The group has met once already without Bectu.
