Outfest has announced the complete lineup for its 40th-anniversary Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ+ Film Festival , which will take place from July 14-24 at multiple locations throughout Los Angeles. More than 200 films, representing 29 countries, will screen as part of this year’s lineup. 42 will make their world premieres, including the doc Stay on Board: The Leo Baker Story from Drew Barrymore’s Flower Films and Pulse Films; the UK feature Phea , starring Sherika Sherard; Mercedes Kane’s Art and Pep ; and Scout Durwood’s Youtopia. Showtime has given a green light to Seasoned , a half-hour comedy pilot starring real-life husband and wife Mandy Patinkin (Homeland ) and Kathryn Grody ( The Lemon Sisters ). Co-created and co-written by writer-director Ewen Wright and their son Gideon Grody-Patinkin, Seasoned is a scripted comedy inspired by the couple’s real life and relationship. Per the logline, it “follows the delightfully tumultuous relationship and life of a successful, gregarious, deeply committed, slightly insane married couple played by Patinkin and Grody – roles they’ve been rehearsing for the last 43 years. The Bentonville Film Festival announces the jury prize winners for their 8th annual Festival.
