Combined with domestic , the sun-kissed origins story kicked off a global launch of $77.9M . Overall, Mamma Mia 2 came in at No. 2 overseas this weekend, with Universal/Legendary’s Dwayne Johnson-starrer Skyscraper the name of the game in China .
