NFL commissioner Roger Goodell rejected Tom Brady‘s suspension appeal on Tuesday, giving a statement about how Brady was uncooperative with investigators who were examining his involvement in the Deflategate scandal. This morning, Brady took to Facebook to express his disappointment and deny any wrongdoing, despite reports that he destroyed his cell phone after being requested by investigators to turn over a series of suspected text messages. Brady said that his phone was already broken, that he likes to destroy his phones before getting a new one, and that he tried to retrieve the messages after being requested later by Ted Wells:“I replaced my broken Samsung phone with a new iPhone 6 AFTER my attorneys made it clear to the NFL that my actual phone device would not be subjected to investigation under ANY circumstances.”“To try and reconcile the record and fully cooperate with the investigation after I was disciplined in May, we turned over detailed pages of cell … [Read more...] about Could the NFL Get Tom Brady’s Texts if They Wanted?
Though OS X Lion only released last July, less than one year ago, Apple has announced the next upgrade to their operating system, OS X Mountain Lion, obviously taking a cue from Leopard’s jump to Snow Leopard. This iteration of Apple’s desktop operating system will be more like its mobile operating system, iOS, than ever, with the inclusion of some new features, as well as iCloud being bandied about the operating system like never before.First off, there are two ways you can check out the new operating system for yourself: By checking out the features over on Apple’s site, or you can install the operating system right now if you have a developer account and are feeling adventurous. One of the biggest changes to the system is that Apple seems to be dropping the “i” prefix across various well-known apps. iChat is becoming “Messages,” iCal is becoming “Calendar,” and so on, and it is a nice change to see Apple trying to move away from … [Read more...] about Apple Already Announces OS X Mountain Lion, Is More Like iOS

I can think of a few ways that idea could go wrong, especially if you share your devices with multiple people, but the idea got greeted with exuberant cheers at the conference nonetheless. On to the plethora of brand new iOS X features! The most popular announcement of the bunch looks to be the changes getting implemented in iMessage. In an effort to compete with other popular messaging services (like … [Read more...] about Apple Announces iOS X at WWDC 2016, Featuring iMessage Updates Like “Bigger Emoji”

This means that there are now apps for things like Words With Friends, Fandango, and yes, OpenTable available for … [Read more...] about Apple Just Changed Everything About Planning Group Dinners
