Or Young Kim, Michelle Steel and Marilyn Strickland, recently sworn in as the first three Korean-American women (Kim and Steel from California and Strickland from Washington) to be elected to the House of Representatives? Their stories are powerful yet mostly unnoticed, their inspirational deeds unheralded.
