At the agency, she signed such writer/director clients as Andrew Patterson, whose movie The Vast of Night world premiered at Slamdance 2019 and was later acquired out of TIFF by Amazon. She also signed May el-Toukhy, whose movie Queen of Hearts made its world premiere at 2019 Sundance. When the pandemic hit, Uniacke shifted gears, focusing on musicians, actors and entrepreneurs whose businesses she could build while the world was shut down. ‘Wicked’: Ariana Grande Shares Behind The Scenes Photos Alongside Cynthia Erivo
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are getting ready to make their wickedly debut in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of the Wicked Broadway musical. The pair took to Instagram to share a set of behind-the-scenes photos teasing what fans can expect in the coming months. “Up to (no) good,” read the caption of the Instagram post. In the first image in black and white, Grande and Erivo are seen holding hands. The “Focus” singer is wearing a polka-dot dress with white gloves while Erivo wore a plaid ensemble. A second photo of the duo has them in the back of a vehicle looking at each other while Grande sports her signature ponytail. Along with the early release in Japan, Pikachu ‘s offshore cume is $112.4M through Sunday, and the global total with the strong domestic bow is $170.4M . BAFTA has pulled the curtain back on its Television Awards nominations, and This Is Going To Hurt and The Responder are leading the chase for a famous bronze mask. The BBC dramas each have six nominations across the BAFTA Television Awards and BAFTA Television Craft Awards, including Leading Actor for Ben Whishaw and Martin Freeman. Whishaw plays junior doctor Adam Kay in This Is Going To Hurt , which was co-produced by AMC. Freeman features as an urgent response police officer in The Responder . This Is Going To Hurt is nominated for Mini Series, while The Responder will compete in the Drama Series race. Turner Classic Movies is devoting the entire month of April to celebrating the 100th anniversary of its landlord, Warner Bros ., with hundreds of films from every decade of the studio, plus a variety of interstitials, documentaries, shorts and Looney Tunes cartoons, as well as interviews with stars and directors focusing on the cinematic achievements of the storied movie factory.
