EXCLUSIVE: Adventure Media , the artist-driven management and production company launched last summer by ICM Partners veterans Chris von Goetz and James Robins Early and producer Aaliyah Williams, has made its first manager hire. Matt Klasco is joining the company, reuniting with former ICM colleagues von Goetz and Robins Early. Klasco began his career in 2016 in the ICM mailroom, working his way to the Agent Trainee program, before transitioning into management as a Literary Coordinator at Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment. For the past three years, he ran his own boutique literary management and production company, Klasco Entertainment. ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Renewed For Two Additional Seasons By Peacock
The adventures in Salem are expected to continue on NBC’s sister streamer, Peacock : Days of Our Lives has been picked up for an additional two seasons. The renewal will take the daytime sudser through its 60th season. Peacock says DOOL has consistently been a top 10 title since it moved to the streamer last year. It has also spawned two limited spinoffs dubbed Beyond Salem . Chapter 2 of the spinoff aired in July and featured the return of DOOL super-couple Bo and Hope (Kristian Alfonso and Peter Reckell), as well as Deidre Hall as Dr. Marlena Evans, Drake Hogestyn as John Black, Stephen Nichols as Steve “Patch” Johnson, Mary Beth Evans as Kayla Brady Johnson, Lucas Adams as Tripp Johnson, and Camila Banus as Gabi Hernandez. Peacock has set its premiere date for the Uni horror-thriller Knock at the Cabin , marking the 15th feature effort from iconic genre filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan . The film based on Paul Tremblay’s 2018 book The Cabin at the End of the World will stream exclusively on the platform beginning March 24th. BAFTA TV Awards Nominations: ‘This Is Going To Hurt’ & ‘The Responder’ Lead Chase For Prizes
BAFTA has pulled the curtain back on its Television Awards nominations, and This Is Going To Hurt and The Responder are leading the chase for a famous bronze mask. The BBC dramas each have six nominations across the BAFTA Television Awards and BAFTA Television Craft Awards, including Leading Actor for Ben Whishaw and Martin Freeman. Whishaw plays junior doctor Adam Kay in This Is Going To Hurt , which was co-produced by AMC. Freeman features as an urgent response police officer in The Responder . This Is Going To Hurt is nominated for Mini Series, while The Responder will compete in the Drama Series race. Adam Kay and Tony Schumacher will both do battle in the Writer: Drama category at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards.
