Prince Harry has unexpectedly arrived at London’s High Court as a privacy case against The Daily Mail publisher Associated Press gets underway today. Somewhat ironically given the nature of his appearance, the Duke of Sussex was surrounded by reporters and photographers as he made his way to the High Court’s front gates. The treatment of Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, was one of the key themes of their Netflix doc series Harry & Meghan and his autobiography, Spare . The fact he has chosen to attend in person today shows how seriously the royal is taking this week’s hearings. Harry is one of several high profile claimants accusing The Daily Mail of several privacy breaches, including phone tapping. Associated Press denies the charges and is seeking to get the case dismissed this week during four days of hearings, at the end of which a judge will rule if the claims can go further. Getty Brian Cox has backtracked on negative comments he made about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry -- and he's blaming the media for taking his words out of context. The "Succession" star was interviewed by Radio Times and now says he had "enormous sympathy" for the royals after they announced they were leaving Britain's Monarchy in 2020. He previously showed little sympathy for the couple, saying Markle knew what she was getting into when she tied the knot with Harry and even fantasized about marrying Prince Charming. Leaked rehearsal plans for the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III reveal that there is currently no place for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle in the procession to follow the king’s crowning in Westminster Abbey. This revelation by The Times of London follows reports that Harry and Meghan have been invited to the ceremony taking place on May 6 in the UK capital. According to the plans, the King’s shamed brother, the Duke of York, has no place in the royal procession, and his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will not be taking part either. Bel-Air star Jimmy Akingbola ’s heartwrenching Handle with Care doc has been picked up by Peacock in the U.S. Handle with Care , which debuted on ITV in the UK and is produced by TriForce Productions , sees Akingbola tell the story of his upbringing after he was adopted by parents of a different ethnicity to his own. He also meets others who have experienced the British care system, including the likes of Save Me star Lennie James and athlete Kriss Akabusi, in order to build up a picture. The doc tells a “positive story” of growing up in care, Akingbola recently told Deadline . Disney ’s live-action take on The Little Mermaid has been cleared for theatrical release in China , as has Fast X — the penultimate installment in Universal ’s long-running Fast & Furious action franchise . Dates are still to be set for both films in the market which has increasingly been handing out day-and-date releases for Hollywood titles even if audiences have been somewhat tepid of late.
