Superstar producer Rusko - whose real name is Christopher Mercer - was able to salvage the recordings after his home studio caught fire when a car parked in his garage exploded, according to World Entertainment News Network. "Thank God I grabbed my hard drives," News.com.au quoted Rusko as tweeting. "We're all safe thank the lord," the English producer added. Stephen P. Neary , creator of animated series The Fungies!, has slammed HBO Max for pulling his Jennifer Coolidge -voiced show from the service. The Fungies! is among 30 titles that are set to be removed from the streamer as Warner Bros. Discovery continues its cost-cutting measures and ahead of the merger of the HBO Max and Discovery+ services next year. Neary took aim for a lack of promotion for his “fever dream of a show” and also highlighted the fact that he and his team worked hard through the pandemic to ensure that it could air. Mike Tomlin offered a group of kids a way better option than fighting in the streets this week -- inviting the quarreling youngsters to a Steelers practice -- and the gesture was AWESOME. According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer , Tomlin was driving his car when he saw a group of young kids fighting in his path. The 50-year-old immediately pulled over and got out of his car to try to break it up ... and when the kids realized who was telling them to stop throwing hands, they immediately ended their beef. Andrew Keegan and his friends were brutally attacked by a group of six men recently, TMZ has learned -- but lucky for him ... he only ended up with a couple stitches. Sources close to Keegan tell TMZ, Andrew and his buddies were leaving a charity event in L.A. a few weeks ago when a group of six male strangers approached them -- and picked a fight out of nowhere. UPDATE Nappy Roots rapper Fish Scales is lucky to be alive after he was shot, robbed and kidnapped outside an Atlanta brewery he co-owns. Police say two suspects first robbed a customer in the parking lot before entering Atlantucky Brewery and forcing Scales into his car at gunpoint. The robbers then drove Scales up the road to his home in a neighboring suburb where he was able to escape, but not before being shot in the leg during a struggle. Scales, who is one-fourth of the Grammy-nominated rap group, is now resting in the hospital -- Nappy Roots put out a statement saying, "We are so thankful our brother is safe and on the road to recovery." California’s lack of strong tax incentives is killing TV production in Los Angeles said FilmL.A. today. “For many years, we’ve relied on Television to backfill the hole left by the flight of feature film production from the L.A. region. Television has been our bread and butter, but with Sacramento’s inaction to stem our losses, other states and countries are eating off our plate,” claims the non-profit permitting group’s president Paul Audley. The statement came as the organization released a mixed second quarter report Tuesday. It also comes less than a week after the $100 million annual state incentive inched its way towards a two year extension in the Legislature. Off lot television production days in Los Angeles were down 15.4% this quarter, FilmL.A found. Last quarter the drop was 9%. The biggest drop was among Drama, which was down 39.2% from last year to 581 days, and Reality, which fell 16.8% from the same quarter last year to 1,461 days.
