HBO Max has commissioned a six-part Spanish-language teen road trip drama, How To Screw It All Up . The series, from emerging Spanish talents Jaime Olías and Pablo Sanhermelando, follows a a group of friends who take a directionless road trip, but end up finding themselves. Boomerang — the Spanish producer behind Los Misters de Laura , which NBC remade as The Mysteries of Laura — is producing. Alba, a new girl at school having trouble fitting in, hears the end of year trip is cancelled, ending her chances of running away from home. Little Richard , the wild singer-pianist-songwriter who was one of rock ‘n’ roll’s pioneers, has died at age 87. His death was confirmed by his son, but the cause was not initially given. Later in the morning, Little Richard’s agent Dick Alen told People that the rock icon died from bone cancer. “Little Richard passed away this morning from bone cancer in Nashville. He was living with his brother in Nashville,” Alen said in a statement. “He was battling for a good while, many years. I last spoke to him about two or three weeks ago. J-MILLA’s Jacob Nichaloff is a proud Mak Mak Marranunggu man who was born in Darwin in the late 1990s. Nichaloff wrote his first bars at age 11. He launched the J-MILLA project in 2017 and released his first single, “My People,” a song about racial discrimination and the path to reconciliation, in 2018. Racial discrimination is a recurring topic in J-MILLA’s work. Nichaloff has experienced intergenerational trauma throughout his life, but he finds solace in music. His releases are strongly influenced by contemporary hip hop and R&B, while also drawing on the storytelling traditions of his cultural ancestors.
