Through Friday, the worldwide gross on the 20th Century Studios / Disney /Lightstorm epic Avatar sequel is $2,074.8M , overtaking Force Awakens ’ $2.071B. This means that Cameron has three of the top four movies ever globally alongside the original Avatar at No. 1 and Titanic at No. 3. Haydn Gwynne, who plays Queen Consort Camilla in The Windsors , has said the royal comedy is planning to shoot a special episode in time for King Charles’s Coronation later this year. “They have commissioned another series, which we will be shooting later this year. But also, we’re going to be very soon doing a Coronation special,” Gwynne told the BBC’s Radio 4 Saturday. Gwynne continued to say that she initially thought the show wouldn’t return after George Jeffrie, who co-wrote the series with Bert Tyler-Moore, died of a heart attack in 2020. “I thought that would be the end of it, so it’s amazing that Bert has managed to pick up the baton, and we’re doing it again.” The Windsors first aired on British broadcaster Channel 4 in 2016. Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan is back, and in a big way, as his action-packed espionage pic Pathaan has been breaking records for a Hindi title since debuting Wednesday in India and overseas. This also ends a lengthy hiatus from the big screen as a lead for SRK, and gives a boost to Bollywood which has had a rough run of late. Through Friday, the Yash Raj Films title has grossed 313 crore ($39M) globally. That makes it already the biggest opening weekend of a Bollywood title ever worldwide, with more to be added today and tomorrow.
