Didn't think that IT trailer could get any more unsettling? Think again, because somebody has found a way to ruin your childhood by mashing up that terrifying first IT teaser with a Dr. Seuss classic. A YouTuber has swapped out Pennywise the clown for Mike Myers ' version of The Cat in the Hat and, as silly as it may sound, it is at least as creepy as it is silly. If not more so. This totally unnecessary mashup was posted to the But Without YouTube channel and is appropriately titled, The Cat in the Hat But it's a Horror Movie . The video uses all of the same beats and flow that the first IT trailer did, but every time Pennywise would have shown up, we instead see The Cat in the Hat . Pennywise may be scarier , but there is something very creepy and unsettling about seeing the Dr. Seuss creation presented in this way. Coming out of Disney's fast and furious title dump during its investor day on December 10th is news that the somewhat strangely named Zootopia+ will return viewers to the "mammal metropolis' of Zootopia in a short-form series destined for Disney+. Jennifer Lee, Disney Chief Creative Officer said nothing, specifically, during her presentation to indicate that Zootopia would not eventually get a second, or even third feature animated film, but let investors and fans know that, for now, the series would satisfy their desire to revisit the unique mammalian city. The return to characters Flash, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps on the Mouse House streamer would, at the very least, test the waters for more feature films, as the characters explore megacity and its ecosystems. The film follows a couple on a romantic getaway in Vietnam, who find themselves stranded at sea after a massive tropical storm sweeps away their seaside villa. A review of the WandaVision finale coming up just as soon as I say that debriefs are for the weak… Yesterday, I wrote an essay praising WandaVision for leaning into its existence as a television show, rather than a Marvel Cinematic Universe film drawn out to fill up nine episodes. With an episode aptly titled “The Series Finale,” WandaVision concludes very much in MCU territory, a bit for good and more for ill. It’s not just that we’ve long since left the sitcom conceit behind(*), but that the bulk of the extra-long finale was devoted to action spectacle, with Wanda battling Agatha Harkness, the fantasy Vision trying to hold off his ghostly doppelganger, and Tyler Hayward and his SWORD team breaching the Hex in an attempt to clean up their mess.
