Idris Elba this week shared a new teaser trailer and the release date for Netflix ’s feature adaptation of his popular detective drama Luther . Watch the teaser below. The pic is titled Luther: The Fallen Sun and the teaser clip revealed the film will hit select cinemas on February 24 before landing on Netflix on March 10. In the short clip, Elba can be seen suited up as his titular character, and he creeps into view just as a voice on the backing track begins to talk. “Somethings coming,” the voice says before adding: “You see me now?” Jamie Payne is directing the pic from a screenplay by series creator Neil Cross. The film is billed as a continuation and reimagination of the BBC series, which cemented Elba’s status as a leading actor and scored 11 Emmy noms during its run. Madonna has announced details about her upcoming world tour, dubbed The Celebration Tour , confirming the project in a starry video that mirrors a scene from the 1990 documentary Truth Or Dare. The video – see it below, but it’s probably NSFW – features the singer at a dinner party with guests including Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Judd Apatow, Diplo and others, with each playing the Truth or Dare game. When it comes to Amy Schumer’s turn, she dares Madonna to go on a tour performing her many hits. Madonna takes the dare. The previously announced Michael Jackson stage musical has gotten a name and a pre- Broadway premiere date: The newly titled Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough will begin performances in Chicago on October 29. The musical, inspired by the life of the late King of Pop and featuring a book by Lynn Nottage , will run through December 1 at Chicago’s James M. Nederlander Theatre (formerly the Oriental Theatre). Playwright Nottage has won two Pulitzer Prizes for drama, the first in 2009 for Ruined and the second in 2017 for Sweat .
