GAME Of Thrones fans are settling in for the Long Night as Dragons and White Walkers prepare to do battle in Westeros. Season eight is drawing ever closer - with the final season only a week way! Fans of the HBO epic fantasy series went into overdrive as the first proper footage of the six-part final season was released online. But as usual the producers haven't given too much away in the trailer with regards to the plot of series 8, instead it just offers a glimpse of what is in store. The trailer shows the moment Sansa Stark appears to decide to betray Jon and Daenerys as she glares at them as they both walk towards their dragons. Jon Snow and Queen Daenerys are then seen riding with their armies together as her two remaining dragons fly around them. Lady Sansa Stark looks curiously at the dragons and her cousin Jon, potentially hinting at her betraying them both to seize the throne for … [Read more...] about When does Game of Thrones season 8 start, how did series 7 end and is it on Netflix?
Game of thrones season 7 trailer
56 seconds ago What is HBO going to do without Game of Thrones? What are any of us going to do? Season 8 will only air six episodes, starting April 14, and then that's it. It's been almost two full years since Season 7 aired, and HBO held off on feeding fans the official Season 8 trailer until just a couple of days ago. The anticipation paid off and led to a new viewing record for HBO. According to HBO (via TheWrap), the Game of Thrones Season 8 official trailer was viewed 81 million times across Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube within the first 24 hours of posting. That topped the previous 24-hour record by 20 million -- that record was from the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer in 2017, which got 61 million views in its first day. How did the final season trailer get 20 million more views? Maybe because fans watched a dozen times each to analyze every square inch of footage for clues. Game of Thrones was probably smart to hold off sharing much of anything before this trailer, … [Read more...] about The Game Of Thrones Season 8 Trailer Set A Huge New Viewing Record For HBO
13 minutes ago The official trailer for Game of Thrones Season 8 is here, and if fans look hard enough, they'll spot some answers to questions that have been asked for a long time. The major secrets are still under wraps, like who'll take the throne, but it appears we can now confirm with certainty that two big characters survived the chaotic events of Season 7. The wall may have fallen, but Richard Dormer's Lord Beric Dondarrion and Kristofer Hivju's Tormund are still standing in the final episodes! The two men only get a quick scene in the trailer, and are seen with a member of the Night's Watch. Possibly Edd? It's hard to say, given Lord Beric's sword is shining to his back, but the hair looks very similar. Where are these three men headed? Better question, where are they exactly? It's possible this is another section of the wall, as the ice dragon only destroyed a large chunk of the structure in the Season 7 finale. The men might be traveling through corridors trying to … [Read more...] about Game Of Thrones Season 8 Trailer Confirms Two Characters Are Still Alive
THE Game of Thrones final season trailer has arrived. Fans of the HBO epic fantasy series have gone into overdrive as the first proper footage of the six-part final season has been released online giving huge hints about what is to come in the secretive series. The trailer begins with assassin Arya Stark fleeing in the catacombs in Winterfell from an unknown attacker. Beaten and bloody she runs before it cuts to another scene where she holds her sword and says: "I know death. He's got many faces, I look forward to seeing this one." The trailer also appears to show Bran, who was left unable to walk in the first episode, seemingly walking at Winterfell as he surveys the troops. He says: "Everything that you did brought you where you are now. Where you belong. Home." Jon Snow and Queen Daenerys are then seen riding with their armies together as her two remaining dragons fly around them. Lady Sansa Stark looks curiously at the dragons and her cousin Jon, potentially hinting at her … [Read more...] about Game of Thrones season 8 trailer: Jon Snow and Daenerys prepare for battle as the Night King arrives at Winterfell
14 minutes ago HBO just unleashed 14 new photos from Game of Thrones Season 8. Sure, it's not the official trailer everyone is clamoring for, but it's more than just something. The photos may not reveal much, but they highlight Team Dany/Jon in the North, with a couple of photos of Cersei Lannister in King's Landing. The showrunners love their secrets, so they are probably hiding some other character and location twists for either the full trailer or (more likely) the April 14 premiere itself. The photo of now heavily bearded Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) caught my attention. He is giving someone a bit more than just a Mona Lisa smile in the image below. Where exactly is he, and who is the beneficiary of this merry-eyed glance? Where is Jaime Lannister? I'm guessing Winterfell. Somewhere in the north is a safe guess. He's more bearded now and changed out of his King's Landing garb. He looks Full North. Who is he smiling at? Maybe Brienne of Tarth? She has a new … [Read more...] about Who The Heck Is Jaime Smiling At In New Game Of Thrones Season 8 Image?
