Jackie Shroff who recently turned 64, revealed that he has been working hard, maybe even more than his son Tiger Shroff. In an interview with Spotboye, he said that he is gearing up for Bhoot Police and he has never been busier. He revealed details about his schedule since his birthday on February 1, and said he shot for a film in Mathura with Pratik Gandhi ( Scam 1992 fame actor), titled Atithi Bhooto Bhava. He also shot for Ahmed Khan's Om with Aditya Roy Kapur. Comparing his working scheduled to Tiger, who celebrated his birthday earlier this week, Jackie added, "I think I'm doing more films right now than my son. That's because Tiger chooses to do less films." The proud father added that success has not changed his son. He said that all credit goes to his grandmother and mother. Netflix today hosted an event in Mumbai unveiling a hefty slate of upcoming films, series, documentaries, reality programs, and comedy specials. There were a total of 40 projects touted during today’s showcase, some of which were previously announced, such as the Alfonso Cuaron-exec produced feature The Disciple , which as Deadline revealed Netflix took world rights on following the movie’s premiere at Venice last year. Also on the slate are: the series Bombay Begins from Endemol Shine India, Endeavor Content and Chernin Entertainment; the relationship drama Ajeeb Daastaans , from directors Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kayoze Irani; the feature Pagglait from Umesh Bist; and Reliance Entertainment’s Bulbul Tarang. Netflix has partnered with Hachette’s Les Editions Albert René and playwright Alain Chabat to create the first-ever animated limited series based on the iconic French comic book The Adventures of Asterix . The 3D animated series will be made in France and streamed on Netflix around the world in 2023. Chabat, who wrote and directed 2002’s Mission Cléopâtre , will serve as showrunner. Mission Cléopâtre was the most successful of Asterix’s numerous screen appearances and the third highest-grossing feature film in French history, according to Dominique Bazay, Netflix’s director of original animation. Each of Asterix’s 38 volumes features the pugnacious warrior and his irreverent village companions keeping a tiny corner of ancient Gaul free from bumbling Roman invaders.
