Marvel fanatics got their first look at the upcoming miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier during Super Bowl 2021 on Sunday via a trailer replete with explosions, stomach-flipping stunts, and all manner of intrigue. The six-episode show premieres on March 19th Disney+. Created by Malcolm Spellman, the show picks off after the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame — after Steve Rogers has relinquished his role as Captain America and Falcon has stepped into his boots. The show stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson (Falcon) and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier). The series also stars Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Noah Mills, and Carl Lumbly. A five-second guerilla marketing ad by the Reddit subreddit r/wallstreetbets got a message across in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment just after halftime. The community was using a GoFundMe to raise money for an ad, but couldn’t reach the lofty mark in the short-time before the game. So instead, it opted to blast out the message in its five-second moment, hoping that the subsequent pick-ups (like this) would help reach the intended audience. The plan was hatched in reaction to a thirty-second Super Bowl ad by the stock-trading app Robinhood, which is currently in the dog house for blocking trading in Gamestop and other volatile stocks. Marvel has finally released the trailer of MCU's awaited web show The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The makers released the trailer during the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 7) and surprised fans. The new two-minute-long video has fans waiting in excitement for the long-awaited show. The series was supposed to be the first MCU show for Disney+ Hotstar, but the production was delayed due to the pandemic. According to reports, the six-part series will follow the events that take place in Avengers: Endgame.
