Seth Meyers has, like the rest of the late-night community, been doing his NBC talkshow from his own house since the end of March. Late Night With Seth Meyers , filmed in the comedian’s attic, has been gaining particular steam thanks to his A Closer Look segments, which dissect the craziness of the news, as well as Amber Ruffin’s takeover of the start of his show following the death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests against police brutality. Taking over from Jimmy Fallon in 2014, Meyers has now made more than 1,000 episodes of his show, which is run by Mike Shoemaker and exec produced by Lorne Michaels. George A. Romero's Dawn Of The Dead and Martin are getting brand-new 4K restorations from the U.K.'s Second Sight Films. Second Sight officially announced that the two movies were on the way last month, but now we have a few more details about this exciting restoration project. This includes the fact that Dawn of the Dead is getting a 4K restoration, which was not originally announced and is huge news for Horror fans from all over the world. Second Sight has revealed that producer Richard P. Rubinstein has granted them access to the films' original elements, including an original camera negative for Dawn of the Dead and a duplicate negative for Martin . These sources are being used to create the new Blu-ray and 4K scans. It looks like these might be U.K. only releases, but we don't have that information just yet. They will be released sometime this summer, probably more towards the August area, so we will hopefully get some information soon. Last night I tuned into the Grammy nominations special waiting to see an “iconic group” announce their “monumental” reunion . I saw Lady Gaga sing with Sugarland. I saw a lot of Bruno Mars. I saw the Band Perry inexplicably cover Tom Petty’s “Free Falling.” I saw Usher perform with Mike Stoller and Valerie Simpson. I didn’t see anything resembling a reunion. What happened? “There was the expectation that the artist involved and we would be ready to announce,” Grammy President Neil Portnow told the Telegraph . “We were genuine about the intention and discussion, but the time frame has moved.” Many people thought that Van Halen was supposed to be the band, largely due to the fact that the Grammys sent out this not-so-subtle Tweet on November 3rd: “Who do u predict the reuniting band will be @ GRAMMYnoms?
