Well, you need to craft your job postings to appeal to your target candidates, but there’s a big difference between job ads that will simply get seen online, and ads that will actually convert to real applications. The best job listings keep in mind that when potential applicants look into your open position, they’re most likely going in blind with little knowledge of your company, its culture, and what’s required of your employees. In fact, research from the Candidate Experience Awards shows that 48% of all online applicants don’t have prior knowledge of your company — so it’s up to you to reel them in. That means you don’t want to go too generic when creating a job advertisement, as we know you want to reach as many interested parties as possible, but a listing is useless if it … [Read more...] about RS Recommends: These Are the Best Ways to Make Sure Your Job Listings Actually Get Seen

ESPN+ Eli Manning and Brady Quinn never duked it out on the football field -- but the two are squaring off in a different arena -- debating the best football movies of all time ... and let's just say their picks ain't exactly shocking! The two former NFL QB's caught up on the second episode of season 2 of "Eli's Places" (premieres Wednesday on ESPN+) ... and went back and forth about football movies they hold near and dear to their hearts. Of course, "Rudy" was based on the true story of the University of Notre Dame walk-on Rudy Ruettiger , an undersized player who wasn't exactly the best athlete, but had incredible heart and work ethic. Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp Join Forces for the at Times Pro Forma, at Times Genuinely Ugly Rock Album ’18’
As one of the most influential and innovative electric guitarists in rock history, Jeff Beck has recorded and toured with enough musical luminaries over the past six decades to fill the guest lists at multiple Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. So it’s totally fitting that his first full-length release in six years should be a collaboration with … Johnny Depp ? The legendary six-string genius and the actor got along when Beck guested on Rise , the 2019 album from Hollywood Vampires (a long-running supergroup co-founded by Depp with Alice Cooper and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry), that Depp and Beck decided to make an entire album together in 2020 as a pandemic time-killer. But Depp’s decision to release a record like this now, just weeks after the verdict in the defamation case involving his ex-wife Amber Heard, is bizarre, and in some ways offensive, especially as the album leans into a kind of macho rock cliché that has long been freighted with notions of … [Read more...] about Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp Join Forces for the at Times Pro Forma, at Times Genuinely Ugly Rock Album ’18’
Zayn Malik Reminisces on the Golden Days of One Direction With ‘Night Changes’ Cover

3 Key Ingredients for Successful Serial Entrepreneurship
Opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not reflect the views of Rolling Stone editors or publishers. The entrepreneurial journey is tough — a real odyssey of challenges, difficulties, and failures. But like an odyssey, it is a beautiful journey, which asks of us mental endurance more than anything. Challenges, for entrepreneurs, are a sport, and like athletes, they go to great lengths to overcome them. People like Elon Musk have already tapped into the right mindset, founding successful enterprises one after the other with seemingly bottomless reserves of grit and intelligence. As the industry leader in electric vehicles, his ingenuity has brought great innovations to Earth, and with Space X, he is now reaching out into the universe. What the likes of Musk are capable of squeezing into a day’s work might seem almost supernatural. But if you look closely, their recipe for success is built around core mindsets that allow them to breeze through challenges and use … [Read more...] about 3 Key Ingredients for Successful Serial Entrepreneurship
‘Untold’ Season 2 Takes Fresh Look At Sports Scandal Involving Manti Te’o And “The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist”
Football star Manti Te’o, the object of a notorious “catfishing” incident, is emerging from the stigma of national ridicule. The former Notre Dame linebacker and Heisman Trophy runner-up revisits the scandal that turned him into a punchline in the new season of the Netflix documentary series Untold , executive produced by Chapman and Maclain Way . Not only does Te’o tell his story, but so does Naya Tuiasosopo as she is now known, the person who ensnared Te’o in the strange tale of the “girlfriend who didn’t exist.” “People in the sports world have been kind of fascinated by this story,” Chapman Way tells Deadline, in what certainly qualifies as an understatement. “Neither Manti Te’o or Naya, the person behind the scandal, has talked about this really in depth before.” The short version of the tale goes like this: Around 2009, Te’o connected online with an attractive young woman, who went by the name Lennay Kekua. They developed a friendship that blossomed into a … [Read more...] about ‘Untold’ Season 2 Takes Fresh Look At Sports Scandal Involving Manti Te’o And “The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist”
The Most Memorable Moments From ‘Better Call Saul’
Better Call Saul ended last night with a wonderful episode that brought the entire Breaking Bad universe to a satisfying conclusion. We recapped the finale and spoke with Saul co-creator Peter Gould , but we’re not ready to say goodbye to the classic AMC drama just yet. So here are 10 moments from across the series’ run that remind us why a spinoff no one — including Gould and co-creator Vince Gilligan — seemed to think was a good idea at the start turned out to be as beloved in its own way as the adventures of Walt and Jesse. “I broke my boy!” (From Season One, Episode Six: “Five-O”) Saul Season One is filled with a lot of trial and error. It’s always watchable because of the sheer craft level of Gould, Gilligan, and company, but with more of a meandering air to it than the deliberate-but-focused quality that would typify later seasons (and Breaking Bad , for that matter), as the creative team gradually realized that they liked Bob Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill and … [Read more...] about The Most Memorable Moments From ‘Better Call Saul’
‘Better Call Saul’ Series Finale Recap: Slippin’ Jimmy Vs. Saul Goodman
Better Call Saul has ended. A review of the series finale, “Saul Gone,” coming up just as soon as I build a time machine… “Where do I see it ending? With me on top, like always.” —Saul James Morgan McGill and Walter White join forces one final time midway through “Saul Gone.” It is a flashback to the two of them hiding out in the vacuum store’s basement circa the “Granite State” episode of Breaking Bad , each of them waiting for Ed to secret them away to their new lives under assumed identities. Their conversation is a reminder of Walt’s arrogance, as well as his contempt for Saul: When Saul suggests he could have sued Gray Matter on Walt’s behalf, Walt dismisses him as the last attorney he ever would have employed for such a task. He would laugh in disbelief if you were to tell him that the man he knows as Saul Goodman once kicked off a successful multimillion-dollar class action suit against another corporation on behalf of defenseless senior citizens. Mostly, … [Read more...] about ‘Better Call Saul’ Series Finale Recap: Slippin’ Jimmy Vs. Saul Goodman
WWE Starts Post-Vince McMahon Era With Strong Q2 Numbers; Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon Lauds Father As “True Founder And Entrepreneur”
Stephanie McMahon , the daughter of former WWE founder Vince McMahon and now the company’s Co-CEO, began the company’s second-quarter earnings call with a tribute to her father as a “true founder and entrepreneur.” Earlier this summer, she and Nick Khan were named Co-CEOs of the company as a board-initiated investigation into Vince McMahon’s conduct began. After the probe verified claims from numerous women of sexual harassment, retaliation and payoffs, McMahon resigned in July. Along with its financial results, the company reported earlier this morning that the investigation is now “substantially complete.” McMahon and his wife, Linda “poured their heart and soul into building this business and taking WWE from a regional wrestling promotion in the 1980s to the global entertainment enterprise we are today,” Stephanie McMahon said. “He built the foundation we stand on and prepared us for the future.” Prior to the call, WWE reported strong results for the … [Read more...] about WWE Starts Post-Vince McMahon Era With Strong Q2 Numbers; Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon Lauds Father As “True Founder And Entrepreneur”
