‘Fatal Attraction’ Reboot, Apple TV+’s ‘Silo’ & Prime Video’s ‘Dead Ringers’ Set To Premiere At Canneseries

World premieres for some of the global streamers’ biggest upcoming launches will take place at next month’s Canneseries . Unveiled earlier today, the likes of Apple TV+’s Silo, Prime Video’s Dead Ringers and Paramount+’s Fatal Attraction reboot will be screened at the France event, which takes place concurrently with Mip TV . They will be joined by a list including Netflix France’s Tapie, Israels Corduroy and highly-anticipated South African Studiocanal drama Spinners. Other notable inclusions are Bargain, the Korean smash that has emerged from CJ ENM’s partnership with Paramount+, Childhood Dreams from The Netherlands and Good Morning Chuck (Or the Art of Harm Reduction) from Canada. ‘The Secrets Of Hillsong’ Docuseries Based On Vanity Fair’s Megachurch Exposé Set At FX For Spring Premiere

FX has ordered The Secrets of Hillsong , an investigative docuseries based on Vanity Fair ‘s exposé of the controversial megachurch, which counted celebritries such as Justin Bieber, Kevin Durant, and Selena Gomez among its worshippers. The four-episode docuseries, which Deadline exclusively reported had been in development since 2021, hails from Oscar and Emmy-winning Queer Eye producer Scout Productions and Vanity Fair Studios. It’s set to premiere Friday, May 19 at 10 PM with the first two episodes. The final two episodes will air May 26. All episodes will stream the next day on Hulu. The series will be available on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories. Jerry Torre Memoir ‘The Marble Faun of Grey Gardens’ To Be Adapted For Film By Unger Media

EXCLUSIVE: A film adaptation of the Jerry Torre memoir The Marble Faun of Grey Gardens is in the works by Unger Media . Torre’s story was detailed in the book co-authored by him and Tony Maietta released in 2018. Torre was nicknamed “The Marble Faun” by Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale and her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale, better known as Big Edie and Little Edie and the aunt and cousin, respectively, of former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. As a teen, Torre appeared in their 1975 documentary, Grey Gardens . The forthcoming film, also titled The Marble Faun of Grey Gardens, will tell the story of a gay teenage runaway from Brooklyn framing Big Edie and Little Edie as the misguided guardian angels in his life—and beyond.
