It looks like that Mad Max: Fury Road sequel we've all been hoping for may be on hold, if it happens at all. Director George Miller and his producing partner Doug Mitchell are currently suing Warner Bros., or, more precisely, their production company Kennedy Miller Mitchell is suing Warner Bros., over money they're said to be owed contractually for Mad Max: Fury Road. The studio disagrees, so the matter needs to be settled in court. The dispute, according to Justice David Hammerschlag, hinges on an agreement that states Kennedy Miller Mitchell would receive a $7 million bonus if "the final net cost" of the movie was less than $US157 million. That number was to be determined after certain costs were excluded from calculations. Here's what Justice Hammerschlag had to say about the dispute. "On [Warner Bros'] calculations, Mad Max went over budget. If these calculations are right, [Kennedy Miller Mitchell] does not get a bonus. [But the production company] claims [Warner Bros] made a … [Read more...] about Mad Max: Fury Road Director Sues Warner Bros., Delaying Sequel

Brad Pitt Replaces Tommy Wiseau in The Room DeepFake Video
Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have done the impossible and improved The Room in a new DeepFake video. The duo recently starred in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which came out over the summer. However, placing them in a Tommy Wiseau project is far from a Tarantino script, though just their faces end up turning in a better acting performance than the original. It's often hard to look at, but it is also very intriguing all at the same time, once the weirdness becomes normal. Tommy Wiseau and his cult movie The Room are known for being so bad that it's good and is often referred to as "the Citizen Kane of bad movies." The performances are often unintentionally hilarious and the story doesn't really make a whole lot of sense at times, which is abundantly clear in this DeepFake video. It's really well done, but Brad Pitt's face on Wiseau's looks even weirder than normal DeepFake videos that have come out over the years. It's also really bizarre to hear Wiseau's voice … [Read more...] about Brad Pitt Replaces Tommy Wiseau in The Room DeepFake Video
Stephen King on the Child’s Play Remake: I Just F-ing Loved That Movie
Stephen King has given the Child's Play remake his official seal of approval. The horror legend didn't expect anything from the movie at all and didn't even bother seeing it in the theater. However, it sounds like he wishes he would have gone to see what Lars Klevberg and crew created on the big screen after watching it at home. Obviously, there was quite a bit of controversy surrounding the movie upon its announcement and arrival. There were and are still many who believe the franchise should have been left alone. Stephen King may have had some misgivings about the Child's Play remake at first, but that all subsided once he hit play at home. King's thoughts about the idea of the remake likely mirror those of horror fans who still have yet to see the movie. While the reviews were mixed, a lot of younger fans were into the remake. King had this to say in his review. "I didn't go see it in the theaters, because I thought, 'Well, this is just another warmed-over sequel.' Mark Hamill does … [Read more...] about Stephen King on the Child’s Play Remake: I Just F-ing Loved That Movie
Toy Story 4 Alternate Ending Brings Unexpected Twist for Woody & Bo Peep
The wildly successful Toy Story 4 is coming to Blu-ray soon and the bonus features are causing a stir. The home version of the masterful animated family movie offers a look at what could have been in an alternate ending that, quite frankly, goes against everything the film had to say. In the clip, the director, Josh Cooley, had this to say: "Finding the ending of a movie is extremely hard, especially a Toy Story film where you want it to be really impactful and really emotional." What they came up with initially was jarring to say the least. The clip continues with the sketched storyboard version of a scene in which Bo and Woody have reached the end and accomplished what they set out to do. After a quick celebratory embrace, Bo sees a young girl in a store who we're led to believe is Harmony, the child Gabby Gabby spent most of the movie chasing. Bo immediately stared longingly at "the girl from the store" saying, "she's the one. I feel a connection again, Woody. Like I'm supposed to … [Read more...] about Toy Story 4 Alternate Ending Brings Unexpected Twist for Woody & Bo Peep
