EXCLUSIVE: Samuel Goldwyn Film announced today that it has acquired North American rights to Casimir Nozkowski’s first feature film, The Outside Story . The film, starring Brian Tyree Henry , Sonequa Martin-Green , Sunita Mani and Olivia Edward, will premiere on-demand and digital on Apr. 30, 2021. The deal was negotiated by Miles Fineburg on behalf of Samuel Goldwyn Films and Brian Newman of Sub-Genre Media on behalf of the filmmakers. In The Outside Story , Henry stars as Charles Young, a broken-hearted video editor. Perceiving a betrayal of trust as a sign his girlfriend Isha (Martin-Green) is leaving him, Charles preemptively blows up his relationship and sequesters himself at home. Henry Danger , a popular superhero show on Nickelodeon from 2014 to 2020, saw its first three seasons on Netflix land at No. 4 on Nielsen ’s U.S. streaming rankings for January 18 to 24. Bridgerton repeated at No. 1, collecting 1.06 billion minutes of viewing during the week, its fifth consecutive week past the 1 billion minute mark. Netflix, which again controlled all 10 spots in the rankings, has called the show its best-performing original of all time, and a second season of the Shonda Rhimes period drama is in the works. Henry ‘s strong showing, with 731 million minutes of viewing, comes just weeks before Nickelodeon parent ViacomCBS rebrands streaming service CBS All Access as Paramount+ in a high-profile streaming push. Voice actor Mike Henry said Friday on Twitter that he no longer will voice the Cleveland Brown character on Fox’s animated Family Guy . Henry, who is white, has voiced the African-American Brown since the show’s inception in 1999. He also voiced the character and his son, Rallo Tubbs, on the spinoff, The Cleveland Show, which ran for four years on Fox. Henry was a voice on Family Guy since its 1999 debut. He also voiced Latina maid Consuela on the animated series. The announcement comes in the wake of two other animated series recasting mixed-race who had been voiced by white actors: Jenny Slate on Big Mouth and Kristen Bell on Central Park. “It’s been an honor to play Cleveland on Family Guy for 20 years. I love this character, but persons of color should play characters of color. Therefore, I will be stepping down from the role,” Henry wrote. The mystery of Henry Cavill's secret project thickens following yesterday's tease, with the actor sharing an image of himself reading from a top-secret document and teasing an upcoming project. Many theorized (oops) that it could be his return as Superman , however after some sophisticated investigation, some clever fans have ascertained that it is much more likely related to Mass Effect . Which, to be fair, is equally as exciting. Cavill posted the image to social media along with the caption "Secret project? Or just a handful of paper with random words on it.... On Friday, it was announced that author Ta-Nehisi would be penning a new Superman feature with J. J. Abrams producing . No names are yet attached to star in the movie, but as of this time, it seems that the game plan is to find a new actor to play Superman.
