Amazon gifted the Super Bowl audience with a new trailer for Coming 2 America. Eddie Murphy and crew are back to bring Zamunda to the rest of the world. Just don't mistakenly call it Wakanda. Murphy is back playing multiple characters, just like he did in the iconic original movie, while introducing a brand-new generation to Akeem and Semmi. 2021 is the perfect time for the long-awaited sequel, and thankfully, we don't have to wait too much longer to see it. After Jennifer Lopez and Shakira set the stage on fire at Super Bowl 2020, this year, The Weeknd took the audience by surprise with a unique performance. The singer's act during the half time received an overwhelming response. Pictures and clips from the same have taken the internet by storm. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, headlined the act with dancers all over the stage. The pop star was dressed in a glimmering red blazer, a black button-down shirt with matching trousers. He started out the performance in a convertible, with city lights behind him. The 71st Berlin International Film Festival unveils its program this week, with the Generation and Retrospective sections kicking off proceedings today. A total of 15 films are selected across the two youth-focused Generation competitions – Kplus and 14plus. Of the titles chosen, 60% are directed by female directors. Scroll down for the full list. The movies come from the likes of Canada, China, and Korea. There are eight world premieres and six debuts. Films arriving from other festivals include the animation Cryptozoo, which was at Sundance and features Lake Bell and Michael Cera in its voice cast. The 2021 Retrospective program will focus on the comedic work of three actresses – Mae West, Rosalind Russell, and Carole Lombard during the era when the Motion Picture Production Code (“Hays Code”) was coming into effect. Fans wishes may come true. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 may be bringing in some major star power. It has been reported that Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Aquaman) has been offered the role of Knuckles in the upcoming sequel. Whether or not the star accepts the role remains to be seen but it appears that the filmmakers are aiming high on this one. According to a new report, Jason Momoa has indeed been offered the role of Knuckles. It had previously been confirmed that the fan-favorite character will appear in the sequel, which is expected to begin production in March. Paramount has put the ball "in his court." It is now up to Momoa to accept or decline the offer. Sonic's pal Tails is also expected to have a larger role in the follow-up. The character appeared in a post-credits scene attached to the first movie, signaling that Sonic and Tails were set to team up in the sequel.
