So with the box-office disaster that is Jason Reitman’s THE FRONT RUNNER that ambitious look back at politicians and the press now vanishes from awards consideration. (This was expected.) Who then figure in the running for the Golden Globe/Academy Award Best Picture nominations? Where Oscar may nominate at most 10 and most likely 8, the Globes with separate Drama and Musical/Comedy Best Picture categories have a wider field and more slots to fill.
