Months after criticizing Donald Trump in an impassioned speech at the National Board of Review awards, the veteran actor continues to speak out against the reality star-turned-president. De Niro, who on Wednesday kicked off the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival with co-founder Jane Rosenthal in New York City, tells The Hollywood Reporter why it was important to highlight Trump's tense relationship with the press in this year's lineup."[Closing night doc] The Fourth Estate is an obvious one and a necessary film to see. ... It's about The New York Times and following the various reporters around and what they're dealing with on a daily basis," he says of the Liz Garbus-directed documentary, which will close out Tribeca on April 28. "It's just important to watch that, to see how they deal with the truth, and how the truth is distorted, and to see how they're just trying to keep things in balance."De Niro adds: "It's insanity with Trump and … [Read more...] about Robert De Niro explained why he thinks what Donald Trump is doing as president is ‘very dangerous’

x Already, we know that Legends of Tomorrow‘s fourth season is shaping up to be something else, what with Matt Ryan’s John Constantine and Jes Macallan’s Ava Sharpe being promoted to series regulars. The actor, 54, effortlessly slipped back into character for an hilarious appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to mock Donald Trump. The supervillain had just been sacked by Donald Trump in the comedy sketch, for whom he had been working as the Secretary of Evil. He joked that he was responsible for "all the evil stuff" the president has carried out. When Jimmy asked what he'd had a hand in, he said: "The wall, that was all me, but I wanted it to be a moat filled with spiky blowfish. "I didn't want the Mexicans to pay for it, I wanted Alec Baldwin to pay for it. He also claimed to be the brains behind "The Space Force", Trump's space army. Jimmy asked if it was his plan to "deport dreamers", to which he replied: "No Jimmy, even I have my limits. I'm evil, but I'm not a monster." Later in the sketch Dr Evil announced he would be standing … [Read more...] about Austin Powers star Mike Myers brings back Dr Evil after 16 years – just to mock Donald Trump
