Your home might appear to be clean, but looks can be deceiving. In fact, your home is probably dirtier than you think. From taking care of pet fur to cleaning up dust, having a vacuum cleaner for deep cleaning is an essential item to keep around the house. But not all vacuum cleaners are designed equally, and just any old vacuum cleaner won’t do if you’re looking to give your living space the deep clean it routinely needs. Here’s what you need to know to find the best vac. How Often Should You Be Vacuuming? It’s generally recommended that you vacuum at least once a week, though you may need to vacuum more often if you have pets or have carpet flooring or rugs throughout your home. Skin, dust, and other particles can get lodged into the carpet, and the more time that passes the harder it is to thoroughly clean. One of Marilyn Manson’s Abuse Lawsuits Dismissed Over Statute of Limitations
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by Marilyn Manson ’s former assistant over the statute of limitations, which expired after two years from the alleged crimes. Ashley Walter’s initial suit against the vocalist, whose real name is Brian Warner, alleged sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual harassment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, among other claims. She had initially named Warner’s label, Marilyn Manson Records, Inc., as a co-defendant. Warner has denied all claims of sexual abuse. “The plaintiff has pleaded too few facts and too late to keep this case in court,” Judge Michael Stern said, according to CBS News . Regarding the statute of limitations, he wrote: “Reading the first amended complaint as a whole, [Walters] pleads that [she] was aware of the actions against her by the time she left her employment. Thus, nine to 10 years passed until the filing of the action, far beyond the two-year limitations periods of her claims.” … [Read more...] about One of Marilyn Manson’s Abuse Lawsuits Dismissed Over Statute of Limitations

Amber Heard 's camp has come out swinging, claiming she did not refuse to have her deposition taken Saturday. A member of Amber's team tells TMZ ... Fox News’ Coverage of the Uvalde Shooting Was Sickening
The decade following the 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary has proved that the Republican Party’s infatuation with guns is stronger than any reservations it may have about children being slaughtered. Conservative gun worship has been reaffirmed in the wake of shooting after shooting, and it shouldn’t be surprising that after at least 21 people, including at least 19 children, were killed in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday by a teenager who bought two assault rifles shortly after his 18th birthday , Republican politicians and right-wing media chose guns over the nation’s children. The reaction was especially egregious on Fox News , which decided to put bloviating pundits front and center as information about what happened became public, ignore even the most basic tenets of journalism in favor of reckless speculation, and bring on a steady procession of “experts” to offer harebrained solutions for the epidemic of people with guns killing people in schools. Here are a few examples … [Read more...] about Fox News’ Coverage of the Uvalde Shooting Was Sickening

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's defamation trial is getting uglier with each passing day. After hearing the testimony of Amber Heard's sister Whitney, Depp's legal team will reportedly be calling British model Kate Moss to testify this week in the Depp-Heard trial. A source close to the actor told Yahoo Entertainment that Moss will be appearing in the court via video call. For the unversed, earlier while recalling an incident during her testimony, Amber Heard had said, "I see my little sister with her back to the staircase ... I don't hesitate, I don't wait, I just instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs and I swung at him." Well, rumours stated that Johnny Depp had pushed Kate Moss down a flight of stairs. Celebrity Lawyer Chris Melcher explained to the portal that Heard herself opened the door for Depp's team to bring Kate on as a witness. Melcher further said, "Amber did not tell the jury what she meant by her reference to Kate. It appears Amber is … [Read more...] about Kate Moss To Testify In Johnny Depp’s Trial Against Amber Heard

Uvalde Gunman Posted About Shooting Grandmother, School on Facebook Before Deadly Attack
The Uvalde gunman reportedly shared three messages on Facebook before shooting his grandmother in the face and then killing 19 students and two teachers at Robb Elementary, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said at a press conference Wednesday, May 25. Abbott said the messages were, at this time, the “only information that was known in advance” about the shooting. Approximately 30 minutes before Salvador Ramos reached Robb Elementary, according to Abbott, he shared a message that effectively read, “I’m going to shoot my grandmother.” The second message stated, “I shot my grandmother.” And the third message, which Abbott said went up less than 15 minutes before he arrived at the school, read, “I’m going to shoot an elementary school.” (While Abbott originally described the gunman’s words as “posts,” Meta Policy Communications Director Andy Stone later clarified that the shooter’s statements were made in private messages, not as public posts.)
