On Sunday, The Young and the Restless will officially celebrate 50 years on CBS. For star Lauralee Bell , it’s more than just a celebration; it’s a tribute to the work of her dad William J. Bell , who created the No. 1 daytime drama with his wife, Lee, in 1973. It’s also a heady reminder that Bell — along with her brother Bradley, who’s the head writer on The Bold and the Beautiful — is one of daytime’s most important stewards. “We’re representing dad in such big way,” said Bell of her father, who died in 2005. It’s a happy birthday to Bruce Willis , who turns 68 today. But while the occasion is joyous, his deteriorating condition from dementia has been hard on his family, Emma Willis Heming said in an Instagram message today. Last month it was revealed that Willis has frontotemporal dementia (FTD), an increasingly debilitating form of the illness. To relieve some of the stress, Emma has been using her Instagram platform to keep fans updated on the Die Hard actor’s condition. But today she vented her own emotional state. “So today is my husband’s birthday. The actress threw up a message on Instagram Sunday -- a day before she turned 37 -- which raised some eyebrows among fans. It read, "Logging off until the 21st. If you have followed me for long enough you know I don't acknowledge tomorrow." She continued, "I don't celebrate that day. That day has never been a celebration. Courtesy of Willie Ross CeeLo Green intended to make a memorable entrance into a birthday party honoring Shawty Lo , and memorable it was ... for all the wrong reasons. CeeLo was in attendance for Shawty's bday bash at The Bank in ATL Wednesday and decided he'd join the party on horseback. You can see from the jump, the horse is nervous around the crowd and lights -- as employees try to get the animal steady -- then all hell breaks loose. The horse jolts around, and its legs slip on the tile floor, causing the animal to buckle -- and sending CeeLo to the ground in the process. Luckily no one was hurt, and CeeLo made a quick recovery, getting back up onto his feet to enjoy the rest of the party.
