Heading the new roster is NRG veteran Ethan Titelman , who is joining the company as president of client solutions. Luke Schoknecht, who ran the Australia-based brand agency Raine & Makin before beginning a consulting engagement with Vault last year, has been named Chief Marketing Officer. Getty Marlin "The Magician" Briscoe -- the first black quarterback to start in the American Football League -- has passed away. He was 76. Briscoe's daughter, Angela Marriott , confirmed the tragic news on Monday ... saying Marlin was hospitalized over poor circulation in his legs prior to dying of pneumonia at a Norwalk, California hospital. Briscoe kicked off his career as a star quarterback for Omaha University in the 1960s. He led the team to three conference titles and set 22 school records including passing yards (4,935) and touchdowns (52). The music, a swell of trumpets, violins, and guitar-like vihuelas, soared across the lush fountain park that, in the weeks after the tragic shooting at Robb Elementary School , has become a memorial and gathering place for a community in mourning. Crowds of journalists and grieving loved ones huddled around as the mariachis serenaded them with classics such as Juan Gabriel’s “Amor Eterno” and Cornelio Reyna’s “Te Vas Angel Mio ,” the songs echoing down several blocks. It’s almost impossible to believe a feature film could be shooting in Ukraine but cameras are rolling on what’s understood to be the first movie shot in the war-torn country since Russia invaded. Mamas Production is working up The Day I Met Spiderman , which is billed as a joint project of the Organization of Ukrainian Producers (OUP) and AMO Pictures. It tells a story of a volunteer who discovers supernatural powers within her and saves the future of a boy from Bucha. The OUP was established in March and comprises seven experienced Ukrainian producers. It was created to makes documentaries and features about the premise, course and consequences of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine. Production in Ukraine stopped following the invasion, with only the ingenuity of some keeping certain projects going, as Deadline has reported.
