The Downtown Albuquerque Railyards will serve as the headquarters for the New Mexico Media Academy , a collaborative workforce development program equipping NM residents with the skills they need to build successful film and TV careers, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced on Wednesday. The training hub formerly known as the Next Generation Media Academy will be constructed in the Boiler Room location of the Railyards which have long been a production hotspot, featuring onscreen in projects ranging from Breaking Bad to The Avengers . A companion campus, serving Southern New Mexico, will be built in Las Cruces. ‘Paradise Court’ Horror Film Based On Zenescope Comics In Works From Screen Gems, Assemble Media
EXCLUSIVE : Sony ‘s Screen Gems is in very early development on a Paradise Court film based on the horror comic book series from Zenescope Entertainment, and has enlisted Assemble Media to produce it, Deadline has learned. Created by Zenescope’s CEO Joe Brusha, Paradise Court takes its name from a luxurious and exclusive gated community where beneath an idyllic facade lies a deadly secret — all the residents are serial killers with unique proclivities and manicured lawns cut as sharp as the knives in their kitchens. The project was brought to Screen Gems by Jack Heller and Assemble Media. 2023 Oscars Inch Toward Audience Of 20M After 7 Days Of Multiplatform Viewing
The 2023 Oscars drew another million viewers in the week following the live telecast. According to ABC , the 95th annual Academy Awards drew an average audience of 19.9M total viewers after seven days of viewing across linear and digital platforms. It also scored a 4.43 rating among the key 18-49 demographic. That’s up 8% from the 18.8M viewers that tuned in live on March 12 . It marks the second year in a row that the Oscars grew its audience in the days after the live ceremony. While 8% may not seem like a huge jump, most live ceremonies draw little to no delayed viewers, unless something significant occurs. ABC also says the Academy’s digital content views of the 95th Oscars increased year-over-year by 359%, up to 109.2M vs. last year’s 23.8M.
