LEE and Dean is Channel 4's new improvised comedy show. It centres around the bromance of two Stevenage based builders.. but who are the comedians behind the characters? Here's all we know... When is Lee and Dean on Channel 4? Lee and Dean continues on Friday, April 20, at 10.00pm on Channel 4 with the four of five episodes. The show is helmed by comedy writer-performers Mark O'Sullivan and Miles Chapman. The duo's first self-devised comedy Flavours was commissioned for Comedy Blaps in 2014 after Channel 4 had seen their short film on YouTube. x Zack Snyder’s Watchmen has got to be one of the most divisive superhero movies ever made. For every person who thinks it bungled bringing Alan Moore’s seminal graphic novel to the big screen, there’s another who thinks Snyder did an amazing job. There are enough of the latter group for many to have called for more movies set in the Watchmen universe over the years, too – perhaps based off the Before Watchmen prequel comics. Unfortunately, though, no further films were ever made, and that’s certainly a shame. The visionary director’s take on the material may not have totally understood what Alan Moore was trying to say in his comic, and gave us too much distractingly gory action and one of the most absurd sex scenes ever committed to celluloid, but it wasn’t all bad. A new sitcom is coming to Channel 4 to help make your Friday nights funnier. Here’s everything you need to know about Lee and Dean. What’s it about? The new show follows two white van men, Lee and Dean, who are builders working in their hometown of Stevenage. The pair are lifelong friends and the series tracks their exploits, particularly Lee’s misadventures with female customers, which do little to please his pal Dean who is secretly in love with him. Lee and Dean is semi-unscripted which means that the cast were given room to improvise a good portion of their jokes. Who is in the cast? The cast is headed up by Miles Chapman as Lee and Mark O’Sullivan as Dean, with support from Anna Morris as Mrs Bryce-D’Souza, one of the pair’s employers and Camille Ucan as the ditzy Nikki.
